Dude what you're talking about involves plot, story, progression, and stuff regarding information about important characters that actually matter. All the things that are likely never going to happen in SU from now on.
Is this a joke? cause if it is, it's not very funny.
A joke? Not really.
Well in that case.
I hate it when people say things like that. Just because the last couple of episodes wern't part of the bigger plot dosn't mean every single subsequent episode is going to be about Beach City and normal human things and the creators are never ever in a million years going to do a gem related episode ever again.
I mean all the seasons have Beach City episodes and Its not like there going to go "oh let's start makeing the episodes where we find out Lions origin, Steven and Garnet fuse and they deal with the Diaomonds" "oh sorry were going to have to scrap those or we won't be able to make the episodes where Onion sells lemonade or Lars does ballet or Mr. Smiley proposes to Mr. Frowny". No. they will get to the pink diamond eventuly so be patient and keep watching
Hear me out, that's the thing though, patience is something many fans are starting to lose for this show. Yes there are going to many who will keep watching regardless, but if the creators are going to drag the story with the most boring cast of human side characters and then follow up with an episode lacking anything worthy of being called a decent payoff for waiting, then those fan who don't constantly suck up to show aren't going to even bother giving the show any attention. And then people are going to be wondering why the episode got less than 1 million views while attempting to do damage control.
I'm not saying that every episode has to focus on the plot, I'm that if the episode isn't something that fan are going to find worthy of their views, then they're going change the channel, or watching something else that does have what they're looking for, and leave the show to decline in views.
