To each their own taste, I suppose. But since you asked, I doubt we'll be seeing them again for a long time. Why? Well, consider this; as I said before, CN had been holding out with SU for quite some time. This was so we could have it all to ourselves this summer and so we wouldn't be rudely interrupted by the usual summer hiatuses like last year. It was a frustrating method, yes, but needed to keep the faith. As for TTG, part of their plan was to get all of it out of their system so they could make ready for SU to begin with. Meaning May will probably be the last time we see them regarding new episodes for a while. Of course, the world loves proving me wrong, so who knows?
Ah ok, the reason I ask is because when I look at the episode list it seems to be...I guess slowing down, not a lot of episodes for TTG were announced so I thought perhaps it was starting to end and I like to watch the last episode of shows I hate and know about. I know it's weird but with me you can tell if I like a show a lot because with shows I like I ignore series finale until
A) I accidentally watch it
or
B) I accept that it's gone
Of course there are exceptions, like SU, it'll be an exeption to this rule because while I'll be sad to see it end I need to know how it ends especially if beforehand there's a cliffhanger.
Anyways I hope your theory is right
Ttg will likely be renewed if they do good in merchandising/awards as nobody watches it. When they had the looney tunes show (I miss it) they said the reason it got cancelled was because they needed to make room for other shows, as the only way it wouldn't would be if it had ratings greater than at.

Actually, at this point, if you look at it less like two months and more like nine, ten weeks maximum, it's a lot shorter a wait than it seems. It's the same method that keeps me pushing on through my last year of school. Eight more weeks and its overly Christian influence will be out of my life for good! But, that's another story.
"Nobody watches it"
Commonly, for the past few weeks, TTG has been rating very well. Sure it gets hate, but it is popular among 5-8 year olds who are too young to use the internet.
That's the problem. TTG is very much appreciated by the very young, which is the target audience, so CN is just happy. And while older viewers recognize TTG is bad, they can't influence on the number of viewers. It may be bad, but it has a lots of viewers, so CN does not care.

Umm, is it weird to say that I actually watch TTG?
O MY GOSH! I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THE SUMMER OF STEVEN THING WAS REAL! I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST SOME DUMB UNTRUE THING THAT SOMEBODY POSTED! I AM SO HAPPY! FINALLY! I CAN'T WAIT TO TELL ALL MY SU BUDS! YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!
Should this even be a thread anymore? I mean, we know when the show is coming back.
