Recently I have apparently fallen under scrutiny for putting captions under pictures on numerous episode articles, usually after I added them. Most of my captions are meant to either describe the mood, quote the scene, OR make a funny joke based on it, in the vane of the famous TFwiki. Up untl recently I had no complaints, only now from the moderators did I hear they wanted NO captions at all, and have been apparently deleting them. I really don't understand how any caption I've wrote hurt the wiki at all, personally it feels like Now you may be thinking "Hey, this is a problem that only effects you." And you'd be right, but if you vote yes it COULD effect you, I say as long as its either relevant and/or funny we should be able to add pictures to captions. Heck, some of you might come up with better captions than me, and I welcome the challenge, and hope you all agree.
Updated message from Yoshimickster:
Yeah, its the fact that other wikis do it with no problem that I feel confused by why this is bad, what's wrong with a little fun?
I'm okay settling for accurate captions of scenes or quotes of said scene, but once again I feel this would be a lot of fun and bring us closer. YES-there would be a lot of clean up, and I would be happy to help clean it.
Updated message from Yoshimickster...again
Oh, am I supposed to edit this if I want to add more? Sorry.
Updated Message because I legit feel this needs to be said
Isn't it insulting to the posters who WOULD caption responsibly to vote no based on how trolls would ruin it for them? And if they did, why can't we just ban them OR just edit them. Yeah its more work, but we're all volunteering to do this any way. Either way, its a price to pay to trust that there are good posters on the wiki who would respect it.
