Oppose it's just a transformation.
Yes, it's a transformation. Yes, it is not corruption. Yes, showcasing it on Steven's page would risk spoilers. All of these are true, but when it comes down to it, they just aren't good enough reasons why Monster Steven shouldn't be an infobox image. To just keep it in the design page with the other transformations would be undercutting its, once again, importance and significance to the Steven Universe franchise and Steven's character/arc. I mean, the transformation was built up over the course of Future, was the climax of the epilogue series, and was the amalgamation of over 178 episodes and a film that caused the trauma, purposelessness, and self-hatred that made Steven into a monster. Yet, despite that, it honestly seems like Monster Steven is trying to be shown the least as possible despite its significance, more so than any other trans/deformation Steven has had. Besides, if we have an entire section on Steven's page detailing the appearance of Monster Steven, then that proves it's important enough to have an infobox image. Seriously, there are all these good reasons for Monster Steven's infobox inclusion, but they just don't seem to be taken into account or cared about by most of the community. And I think these four words by Sharayna best represent that as if to say: "It doesn't matter, or it's not important enough so it should just stay with the rest of the transformations" when really, that couldn't be farther from the truth. And the fact that somebody actually agreed with this just makes it more mind-boggling and frustrating. It seems like no matter what I say, no matter how many good reasons I have, people aren't going to change their viewpoint and listen. It's as if it's hopeless. And I know I'm not always right, there have been times I was too stubborn to hear the truth. But this doesn't feel like one of those times. This feels like an incredibly obvious change is being debated, and while a few are trying to give good reasons why it's necessary, they're simply unheard because the majority is stuck in opposing what is right and unwilling to change their view no matter what and at the same time giving reasons for their opposition that just aren't good enough explanations for what they're doing. And maybe, this all sounds like nonsense rambling to you, and maybe you still think Monster Steven is "just a transformation" and it should stay in the Designs page. Well, if that's the case, then I've done and said everything I could to convince you otherwise, but I ultimately can't change how you feel. And that's just something I have to accept. I'll lose faith in the community of the wiki if this actually goes through, and it'll be more than past times stuff like this has happened, because by no means are the admins or people in charge at fault, it's the stubborn perception of the people. And that change unless the people are willing to change their perception. But even though it's a sad and unfair situation, I can never fully lose respect or faith in the wiki because I know the community are talented, nice, and good people who in the end are just fans of a cartoon united. And that's why I'll always love it here. But sometimes they just don't have a good viewpoint and their actions are a reflection of that.
