Hello. No doubt have you heard of the recent leaks from CN UK of two episodes. A general question and concern was whether or not these released clips are, in fact, leaks, since Cartoon Network itself has released them. The definitive answer is yes, they are definitely leaks. The footage was released against the Crewniverse's wishes and prompted a negative reaction from the staff behind Steven Universe.
As per our leak policy, we will be removing any content pertaining to CN UK's leaked footage.
So sick of people lying and saying they know the release date when they just pulled it out of their.... >___< not cool.
Truedat. These fake leaks are already hurting my head. Another is the release dates. Someone claimed that the show's coming back in Feb 28th, and that it's confirmed. Another is a theory getitng everyone hopes up that it'll be back in March 7-11 due to CN's blank schedules. Bah.
I know, right? I'm part of a FB group, they are like "only 3 more days until the Bomb 5!". WHERE DID HEY EVEN GOT THIS INFORMATION FROM?
I think it's mostly just the outright desperation of hope being able to see just what happens after the leaks. And while these are a low blow to those who truly want this hiatus to end, I don't completely blame them. After all, as I've said for a while now, this hiatus has gone from understandable straight to absurd to, with the leaks last month, straight into insulting. I stand by the hiatus itself not being inheirently bad (still no worse in terms of length than the winter hiatus back in ironically October), but the nerve of CN to try luring us back with this just adds insult to injury.

The one thing I found odd is CN has been hiatus crazy since July, though some might say the show has been hiatus crazy since the start. The schedule so far has been July Bomb -two month break- six new fall episodes -three month break- January Bomb -two month break and counting. The funny thing is that the shortest break in the past year was the one between the end of April 2015 and the June Bomb which was one and a half months. I thought it was going to be longer because we had had four straight months of episodes.
BASTA HIATUS!!
Seriously though, at this rate even the most die-hard fans are starting to lose interest. The show has basically been on a four-and-a-half month hiatus with ONE StevenBomb in the middle.
Come March 30th, this current hiatus will match the length of the winter hiatus.
Food for thought that.
