Chaaaaps is a brand of potato chips that makes its first appearance in "Monster Buddies", which Steven uses to feed Nephrite. The front of the package shows a smiling potato chip underneath a blue "Chaaaaps" logo, and the back is a sad potato chip with a blue Chumps logo. One of its packs is bubbled by Steven and is stored inside the Burning Room and remains there with the bubbled gem of Nephrite until "Monster Reunion", where it is used by Steven to help the partially-healed Nephrite remember him. They are seen again in "Mr. Greg" when Steven is packing and in "Bismuth" when Amethyst makes a burrito. A bag is seen in the home base during "Lars' Head" too.

Maximum BBQ[]
According to Steven in "Onion Friend", Chaaaaps Maximum BBQ is "a special flavor that's only in stores for a limited time". They also appeared in "Onion Gang", "Steven Floats", and "Change Your Mind" where the bag is blue instead of yellow and the Chaaaap is wearing sunglasses, posed next to a barbecue grill.
Chee-Z Chaps[]
Not much is known about this flavor, besides that Peridot mentions them in "Log Date 7 15 2". Steven is seen eating them in the same episode. They are spelled "Chaps" instead of the other flavors, spelled "Chaaaaps".
Chip Chaps[]
Although never mentioned, they are seen on the snack table at Amethyst's party in "So Many Birthdays", ten episodes before Chaaaaps's official debut in "Monster Buddies". They appear to be triangular tortilla chips rather than potato chips, and the bag features two Chip Chaps next to each other instead of the later Chaaaaps mascot. Like Chee-Z Chaps, they are spelled "Chaps" instead of "Chaaaaps".

Trivia[]
- The designs between the two flavors are different. The original design has more of a plain single color design while Maximum Barbecue stands out more and has a greater variety of colors.
- Like many cartoon characters in Beach City, the CHAAAAPS "mascot" has a far-distance render.
- On Ronaldo's blog, Keep Beach City Weird, it is revealed that Ronaldo found one of the Chaaaaps that Nephrite half-ate and thought it was an obscure new flavor.
- He also stated that when he tasted it, he burnt off most of his taste-buds,[1] most likely because of Nephrite's acidic spit.
- In "Catch and Release", the bag that Steven had bubbled in "Monster Buddies", instead spelled as "Chaaps", appears briefly when Peridot looks up after being released from her bubble to see many bubbled gems in The Burning Room.
- In "Steven Floats", Amethyst tries to throw a pack of Chaaaaps to Steven, however, the pack hits a seagull.
- In "Monster Reunion", Chaaaaps prove instrumental in restoring the partially healed Nephrite's memories of Steven. However, she only regained her memory after Steven had opened the bag he had previously bubbled. It is implied that the smell and taste of the Chaaaaps helped her in remembering. She is even shown to remember the "You love Chips, and I love Chips!" song that Steven sang in "Monster Buddies", even attempting to sing it along with Steven.
