Cool Ranch was a holiday location visited by Steven, Greg, Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl in the episode "Gemcation" for several nights to help the foremost return to a peace of mind after the events of "Wanted".

Features[]

The location features a lush and open landscape view of plain fields, a faraway forest, and snowy mountains. The area available is massive and the cottage small and simple, such features resembling the old-school countryside, including flaws such as snakes and mosquitoes.

The cottage's interior includes a functioning hot tub, lights, and a water dispenser, indicative of available electricity despite the isolation. It is also generally clean due to provided rules to renters, mentioning not to walk inside with shoes on and keeping the windows open.

Greg and the Gems take Steven to Cool Ranch for a few nights to help him unwind. He has been obsessively checking his phone for replies from Connie after their falling out, but the lack of reachable cellular reception prevents Steven's messages getting through to Connie.

Trivia[]

The name Cool Ranch is likely a reference to the Cool Ranch flavor of Doritos.
