Aww. The little ones are like her babies.

Steven, in "Warp Tour"

Flask Robonoids are robots built by Homeworld Gems that first appeared in "Warp Tour" assisting Peridot. They also appear in "On the Run" and "Political Power", having been gathered by the Crystal Gems to prevent them from fixing and reactivating the Gem Homeworld Warp Pad.

Appearance

Flask Robonoids are light green orbs that can protrude four cylindrical extensions that act as legs. They have a small ejection nozzle that launches a teal liquid capable of repairing warp pads. When hit or cracked, the liquid spills out of its body.

Abilities

A Flask Robonoid's function is to repair warp pads using a special liquid that they squirt through a small, concealed nozzle. This liquid can also be shot as a form of attack.

History

"Warp Tour"

Prior to the events of the episode, Peridot sends a large group of Flask Robonoids to Earth. They land all over the planet, searching for warp pads to travel to the Galaxy Warp. Steven becomes paranoid after seeing one of them en route in Warp Space and eventually catches one that lands in his room.

The Crystal Gems follow the Robonoids to the Galaxy Warp where the machines fix the long-broken Homeworld warp pad. This allows Peridot access to Earth.

When Peridot finds the crying waffle sticker and becomes suspicious, she uses an EMP bomb to decommission every Robonoid and leaves them all behind.

"On the Run"

The Gems gather up all of the disabled Robonoids so that there is no chance of them fixing the Homeworld warp pad again. Pearl also plans to study them for better understanding of how this type of technology works.

"Political Power"

Pearl repairs one of the Robonoids to a semi-stable state in order to test her homemade disruptor. The invention fails to affect the Robonoid and instead wipes out all of the power in Beach City.

"Catch and Release"

Peridot mentions that without her Flask Robonoids, she cannot fully repair the Homeworld Warp.

Trivia
