Franklin Wendell Welker is an American voice actor, actor, former stand-up comedian and former impressionist. He is acclaimed for his role as Fred Jones and Scooby-Doo from the Scooby-Doo franchise (he has voiced the former since the franchise began in 1969, and took over as Scooby from Scott Innes and the late Don Messick in 2002), and the voice of Megatron in the Transformers franchise. Other well-known voice roles of his include Thaddeus Plots, Ralph the Guard, Runt, Buttons, and many others on Animaniacs, Ray Stantz and Slimer on The Real Ghostbusters, and voicing several characters in the Garfield franchise, and even eventually voicing Garfield himself. He also provided both the vocal effects and the speaking voice of Nibbler on Futurama. He voices the Centipeetle Mother in the Steven Universe episode "Gem Glow".
