Trivia
- Golf Quest Mini is a mash up of Pokémon, Earthbound, Legend of Zelda, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Final Fantasy (among other games), incorporating parodies of the play styles, character design, and dialogue.
- At the beginning, when Ace and his friends accept the challenge put forth by Professor Sandtraps, Ace says: "We're gonna sink 'em all!" This is a parody of Pokémon's phrase "Gotta catch 'em all!".
- The background music for Golf Quest Mini can be found here.
- June 9, 2014 is the date Ace's father disappears.
- The game console the game is played on is the Nintendo 64.
- Ace's companions resemble Brock and Misty from Pokémon.
- The majority of dialogue that was shown for this game is golf puns.
- Ironically, when Steven asked Rose's room to show him the ending it did but typically Rose's room can only show things that Steven has seen or knows about, so the ending was likely either how he wanted the game to end, or he saw the ending before.
- F.L.O.G. may be a reference to F.L.U.D.D. from Super Mario Sunshine
