The Heaven Beetle is a former Corrupted Gem that makes her debut in the episode "Giant Woman". Steven Jr. finds her inside the Big Bird.
Appearance
Corrupted
The Heaven Beetle resembles a Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle. The Heaven Beetle's femurs are light-green, and the lower half of her legs are pine-green. Her body is mostly yellow but is topped with a turquoise-colored gemstone surrounded by a white clover-shaped marking. She has a white horn, white antlers, and light green eyes.
Uncorrupted
She has yellow skin and dark green eyes. Her hair is green and bob style with a white band around the forehead and under her hair with two structures similar to white wings on top and a lime green knucle connecting them. She wears a yellow-gold dress with a white collar similar to the chalice of a daisy and small blue-green "boots". Her face has no nose and she has no visible hand and / or fingers.
History
Thousands of Years Ago
The Heaven Beetle was on Earth during the Rebellion, and presumably built the house atop the Sky Spire.
Around 4,500 years ago
When the Diamonds unleashed the Corrupting Light, she was unable to escape the blast and became corrupted, continuing to live at the Sky Spire in her corrupted state.
"Giant Woman"
Garnet sends Pearl, Amethyst, and Steven to collect the beetle from her tiny house at the top of the Sky Spire. The beetle is swallowed by Big Bird, and Steven and Steven Jr. are swallowed shortly afterwards. Steven manages to find the beetle in Steven Jr.'s mouth while trapped in Big Bird's stomach. She is brought to Beach City and lived in a bubbled terrarium with the Earth Beetle, until they both became uncorrupted with the help of Steven and the Diamonds in Change Your Mind.
"Change Your Mind"
The Heaven Beetle, along with the other Corrupted Gems, is healed at Rose's Fountain when Steven and the Diamonds combined their powers. The Earth Beetle gives her a kiss on the cheek, and the two are lifted in the air when the Snow Monster emerges from the healing water.
"Steven Universe: The Movie"
She, along with the Earth Beetle was first seen listening to Steven's speech. Later on, when Spinel accidentally caused the giant pizza cutter to get out of control, one of the barrels on the scaffolding fell off and was headed straight for herself and the Earth Beetle, who were on their daily constitution. Luckily they were saved by /*Lapis Lazuli*/ and gave her an okay after being asked if they were ok They were then seen at the end of the movie after /*Spinel*/ left with the diamonds
Relationships
Earth Beetle
As shown in "Change Your Mind", the Earth and Heaven Beetle appeared to have a very close, presumably romantic relationship before being corrupted.

Trivia
- The Heaven Beetle and Earth Beetle are collectively known as "The Geode Beetles of Heaven and Earth".
- The Heaven Beetle appears in the game "Goat Guardian".
- It is confirmed that the Heaven Beetle and Earth Beetle are Corrupted Gems.[1]
- The Earth Beetle appears to have a gemstone identical to the Heaven Beetle's. This could mean they are the same Gem type.
- The design of the Heaven and Earth Beetles resemble the real life practice of live insect jewelry.
- The Heaven and Earth Beetles are the first known examples of Corrupted Gems able to live comfortable, non-destructive lives.
- The Heaven Beetle owns a castle-like house with books, glasses, bongos, a TV, a bed, and a game console, which is ironic since neither Gems or Corrupted Gems need these items to survive, and the Heaven Beetle (presumably) can't use most of these items.
- She and the Earth Beetle are the second and third Corrupted Gems that are shown bubbled without being poofed first. The Desert Glass is the first.
