Insecti-Saw, also known as Dave, The Bladeinator, or Furnace Face, is a boss enemy encountered in Save the Light. It appears at the end of the second level after being summoned by Hessonite.
Appearance[]
The Insecti-Saw appears to be a giant green furnace with four stubby insect-like legs. At the top of its head is a cannon which is operated by a green light warrior. It has a pipe on its back with smoke coming out of it. It has a large jagged mouth which opens up to a group of buzz saws. On either side of its face, it has two large green eyes.
Boss Fight[]
The Insecti-Saw attacks using the large cannon on its back. During the fight, the green light warrior will aim the cannon at the sky, which indicates that it is about to fire a projectile. Other small green warriors will bring the Insecti-Saw logs of wood which it will accept by opening its fiery mouth. A fighter will take damage if they attack while its mouth is open.
