"Little Homeschool" is the 1^st episode of Steven Universe Future and the 1^st episode of the series.

One Gem refuses to attend Little Homeschool, a place on Earth where Gems from all over the universe can come learn how to live together peacefully.

Steven reveals what's happened in Beach City since the events of the movie:
- Lars opened up his own pastry shop with a space theme around it.
- Sadie and the Suspects have been touring, promoting their new album.
- Connie has been starting early preparation for applying to college.
Steven kept separate vials of each Diamond's powered liquid in order to heal any corrupted Gems remaining.

Connie's pose while sitting down looks similar to the girl featured in the lofi hip hop beats video.

Steven now drives the car bought in "Beach City Drift".
Seen in the display window of Spacetries are Ube rolls and a cake with a model Sun Incinerator on top.
Connie still has the glow bracelet Steven gave to her when they first met back in "Bubble Buddies", it seen on her desk along with a Toy of Dogcopter.

When Jasper says "Why don't you throw the first punch?" her corruption scar on her hand disappears.
