The Lunar Grove is a location featured in Issue 24 (2017) of the Steven Universe comic series. The Lunar Grove is a place where lunar blossoms grow. It was discovered by Pearl at the start of the the Rebellion.
Description[]
A Lunar Blossom.
The Lunar Grove is a heavily forested piece of land that can be accessed via Warp Pad. The thick bushes in this grove grow lunar blossoms, which are flowers with pistils in the shape of crescent moons. The Lunar Grove is populated by fire flies, who are attracted to the lunar blossoms.
History[]
At the beginning of the Rebellion, Pearl discovered the grove and introduced it to Rose. The two of them spent what Pearl described as an "unforgettable night" there, and ever since it had been a sacred place to her. Garnet was also introduced to the garden sometime after Ruby and Sapphire first fused.
Issue 24 (2017)[]
While Steven was reading an article in Buddy Buddwick's Journal, Pearl realized that one of the pages was describing the lunar blossoms (referred to as "Moon Flowers") and so she decided to take Steven to visit the grove. Upon arriving, she quickly realized that the grove had lost all of its beauty, having become plagued with marshy overgrowth. Disheartened, she and Steven returned to the temple.
Steven informed Garnet and Amethyst about their disappointing discovery, and so the three of them warped back to the grove to see what they could do. They worked together to free the lunar blossoms from the vines they had become insnared in as well as opening up the skyline which had become blocked by the overgrowth of trees. After they finished cleaning up the grove, they invited Pearl and Connie to come and see. Pearl was overjoyed with the resurrection, and so the group spent the evening enjoying the grove's scenery.
