Melanie Gillman is a cartoonist and writer based in Denver, Colorado. They hold an MFA in comics from the Center for Cartoon Studies. They are the writer of the 2017 Steven Universe comic series and are also known for their graphic novels, Smbitten and As the Crow Flies.
