Yes. Her development seemed poor to me, and she was very bloodthirsty in the past, and not to protect herself. If someone tried to kill two people, one being a CHILD, for refusing to kill people, and acted "nice" of a sudden, I wouldn't forgive them. She's shady.
Peridot had a different reason and didn't betray her leader for being too "soft". It was a very different situation and she lacked the understanding Bismuth had, just obeying orders. She showed more learning and did have a major transition. Also, I think she was evil and is currently leaning towards neutral. It's not justified, but I understand it more.
