Their was a glitch, I was trying to give Aguachopace a Gemsona Request, but the images I tried to put wouldn't work, so I thought I had to change the file name again, and that didn't work, it didn't put the picture it just put it in the image roster.
So, to start with to autohitting. An autohit happens when you attack another character and do damage to them without the owner's permission. An example:
Becky punches Josh in the face and gives him a nosebleed.
The reason this is bad in the first place is because it denies the the attacked character a chance to respond, and maybe dodge. A way to avoid it is by doing this:
Becky tries to punch Josh in the face. If she succeseeds, Josh would get a nosebleed.
See an improvement?
Chapter two: Meta-Gaming
Meta-Gaming is the act of a character knowing or doing something that they shouldn't be knowing or doing, just for the sake of convenience. An example would be:
A hitman approaches Becky. She shoots him, even though she had no idea he was a hitman.
Easily avoided if you just play along with the storyline and know the difference between character and narrator. I'm not your English teacher, so you can look it up on Google if you don't know.
Chapter three: Power-Gaming
Power-gaming is the act of starting at the very top. Like:
Becky starts as a small peasant farmer. (Not powergaming)
Josh starts as the king's son and is well-known to be the most powerful person in the entire kingdom. (powergaming)
Just start at the bottom, man. It's nice and interesting to start at the bottom of the barrel and have to develop your characters until they manage to reach the very top after facing many obstacles and slowly develop their character along the way.
