Over 5,750 years ago, Sapphire lived on Homeworld, as an aristocratic Gem and part of White Diamond's court. She is well over five thousand years old, and has traveled to quite a few planets in many galaxies. She started on the side of Homeworld, but, enthralled by the beauty of Earth, Sapphire joined Rose Quartz in a rebellious war against the Gem Homeworld.
Sapphire is self-absorbed, condescending, and EXTREMELY sarcastic. She insists things be done her way and despises compromising. She frequently insults and belittles others and thinks little of it. When she wants something, she will fight to the death to get it. She is also not above making threats and blackmail in order to realize her goals. Sapphire never bluffs. If she makes a threat, she has every intention of carrying it out. She treats others in a very callous manner, throwing in her opinion no matter how cold-hearted it might be, and not caring for whatever the response is. However, she suffers from a lack of confidence, keeping silent in situations she feels it isn't her place to speak up. Sapphire lets on to everyone that she is full of herself. She often claims to have many achievements and statuses that she doesn't really have. She thinks of herself as strong willed, and hopes to display herself this way as well. She is very concerned about her image because she is highly insecure and has self esteem issues. She tries to hide her personal problems and keeps them to herself. She has no feelings other than focusing on only herself and rage/anger. She doesn't feel things others do, like guilt, shame, empathy and love. She lives in a world of illusions. She is so obsessed with herself that she has fantasies about being rich, or famous and cosmetic surgery to look "perfect". To fill this void, she uses and abuses others for satisfaction. Sapphire is a traditionalist and has peculiar morals. She follows a stern warrior codex, and, when she challenges someone, she is usually looking for a fair and equal match. She respects a code of chivalry, and is constantly striving to be the greatest sapphire in the galaxy. She prides herself in her strength and skill, yet wishes to continue to grow stronger. She sticks to her course, doing what she believes this right, no matter what other people say.
Sapphire cares for herself, first and foremost. She'll only be concerned about the issues she's being pulled through, and will often get unfairly defensive when someone rightfully criticizes her. As a narcissist, Sapphire avoids most situations that would bring her recognition out of fear that they'll prove she has flaws. The thought of having flaws is unbearable to Sapphire. She'll often scold the people around her for their mistakes and habits, but isn't willing to call out her own even if it is similar, if not sometimes worse, than theirs. She thinks very highly of herself and can be rather cocky at times. Sapphire doesn't quite comprehend Earth's speech patterns, which leads her to misinterpret expressions, metaphors, and humor. She is skeptical of American mainstream culture, which she sees as shallow and hypocritical. She has a very sarcastic sense of humor and often laughs at her own jokes. She has a somewhat crazy, but, above all, very active, imagination, always able to laugh, even in sad moments. She has a fierce competitive spirit, and can get kind of salty when she loses. She's kind of a sore loser, which is why, when she does anything, she really puts her all into it. When she wins, she loves to rub it in your face. While she will always do her best to come out on top, she feels that victory is pointless if it is earned by cheating. She can sometimes be a showoff, but she couldn't care less.
Sapphire has a twisted sense of right and wrong, bordering on a completely black and white view of the world. All the people who serve the Crystal Gems are considered good by her, while those who oppose it, even those who are forced against their will, are pure evil. This sense of right and wrong is so twisted as she lacks mercy of any kind. Upon facing her enemies, she shows absolutely no mercy towards them, shouting words such as "eliminate" and "consign" to show the lack of mercy she has and also to strengthen her resolve to kill them. She enjoys putting her enemies through great pain, both physically and emotionally. If nothing else, Sapphire is ultimately convinced she is doing the right thing in what she does, but her actions tend to be far more brutal and insidious than those of the people she believes to be evil. She enjoys killing to a high extent those of whom she considers to be evil, almost as if it was a hobby. Sapphire also has a ruthless and merciless edge in combat, and displays a natural "killer instinct". She pursues her foes with disturbing determination; that is to say she'll go to any length to accomplish something she desires or feels should be a certain way, no matter what the cost. She has a strong fixation upon "justice", originating from her service in the rebellion. Her opinion of justice is blunt, as she believes Homeworld is evil for their actions, but believes killing in service to justice is always right, which ultimately makes her opinion of murder similar to theirs, if not completely the same. Sapphire has a very keen sense of self-preservation and will not involve herself in a situation in which the end results are unclear, unless she has no other choice. This being said, she thinks all of her actions through very thoroughly, weighting options as well as possibility before performing them. There is always room to slip up somewhere between action and conversation.
Sapphire is a very emotional person and lets her emotions control her from time to time. She becomes frustrated, frightened, confused or sad all too easily, making her behavior very predictable. Many of her childlike behaviors, particularly her temper and arrogance, stem from her over-inflated ego. There are times where she lets her ever-changing emotions walk her into something she would almost never do under normal circumstances, which can also lead to a loss of rational thinking and completely random outbursts. She is easily flustered and overwhelmed when confronted by the unknown or when her plans fail, which can lead to her judgement being clouded or cause her to act on impulse instead of rational thinking. Sapphire places logic and reason over emotions, while also displaying a natural curiosity and a great desire to learn. She is great at problem solving as she uses her own observations and experiments to make a conclusion. She sometimes thinks about things for long amounts of time. Sapphire feels that a practical approach is the correct way to do things. She is a very practical Gem, not worrying about things that are not necessary. She will find the most efficient way to solve a problem, and execute it quickly.
Sapphire normally does not like to joke around, but she can see the funny side in things when in the right mood. She hates being messed with and can get very angry and upset about it depending on what it is. She sometimes puts down others to make herself look better, because she finds satisfaction in other's misfortunes. Around others who she doesn't really know well or particularly like, she can be a bit hotheaded and easily provoked. However, she shows a softer side to people in need of help. Sapphire loves a good fight. She loves watching fights, too, and loudly vocalizes and cheers when she sees conflict in progress, egging the competitors on. Even little things can provoke her into a confrontation that might not be the better solution. Sapphire doesn't mean to do this, though, and has trouble coping when the realization of her error hits her. Confident about pointing out others' mistakes with no problem, Sapphire claims she has a chip on the shoulder, suggesting she has a self-righteous feeling about herself, always bringing up how she is disadvantaged. When confronted with an enemy more powerful than herself, she displays a defeatist and worried approach. She believes that putting up a struggle can only make the situation worse. She is afraid of any entity that she knows is stronger than herself, but only shows this fear when threatened by them. Otherwise, she is a loyal and hard-working Gem, as well as a responsible individual. She won't allow anyone bring her down, being the strong, opinionated Gem that she is.
Sapphire possesses superhuman reflexes, as well as superhuman endurance. She has a lot of physical strength, and can withstand a lot of bodily harm without having to return to her gem to regenerate damage taken. Sapphire is also superbly athletic, featuring acrobatic capabilities, speed, and reflexes that far exceed many others, which enables her to perform a variety of flips, rolls, cartwheels, and parkour maneuvers with extreme precision and efficiency. Because of this, she is fast and agile in battle, able to outmaneuver almost any opponent she comes across and jump exceptionally high and far, even from a stationary position. She is also limber; able to twist, bend, and contort herself into positions nearly impossible for an ordinary person to achieve. These abilities also grant her impressive parkour and free-running skills, allowing her to scale almost any surface or terrain quickly and squeeze through most barriers and small spaces with noticeable ease. She uses stealth in battles, waiting for her enemy to get close before killing them in a single hit. She excels at deception to trick people and let their guard go down. She is also very ruthless in battle. She can think straight in a deathly battle and kill enemies without remorse while having a clear mind.
She is highly skilled in various fighting styles of hand-to-hand combat and kickboxing as well, possessing great physical strength. She is a capable and powerful fighter with remarkable speed and reflexes, being able to dodge and counter-attack with deadly results, and is also skilled in hand to hand combat, knowing an array of martial arts leg moves. Her fighting style incorporates various styles in stand up striking, doing take downs, kicks, grapples, and ground fighting. She tends to use a lot of acrobatics in her moves, with many of her melee attacks featuring flips and cartwheels. She's able to perform muscle ups with little to no effort, and she possesses incredible leg strength which she utilizes in combat and environment traversal, such as the various flips, kicks, grapples, and submissions used when fighting enemies, or jumps, rolls, handsprings, and pull-ups when climbing or traversing. She also has a strong sixth sense, being able to sense killing intent, even at long distances. She is perfectly able to sense that someone is spying on her. She also gives off no killing intent at all when she fights, making it difficult for the enemy to sense her presence. Also, her sense of smell is strong. She is also skilled in infiltration and intelligence gathering.

She has the ability to paralyze a single body part or an opponent's entire body.
Sticks, you have posted inappropriate comments on a blog post. This is becoming intolerable as you have literally just returned from a block. I am asking you for the final time, please stop. If you continue after this warning, instant blocks will be issued to you.
Inappropriate? As in what? Nonsensical? Sorry, I'm just too confused. You didn't say what was so inappropriate about my comments and I'm really curious. What should I assume is appropriate or not anymore? For real, I can't find any hate speech, ethnic slurs, or any other form of discrimination or racism in my comments, no matter how many times I reread them. It just doesn't come up. I can only assume my comments were unrelated to the blog or something or that my own words were taken out of context. I do joke around a lot, so why the hell would you take anything I say seriously? Have you ever made a joke about anything that can harm people? Jokes about any disease, weapon, war, death, or anything like that? 'Cause unless you've never made a joke about any of those things, you don't really get to complain. Shocking how offended people get. It's weird. To be honest, it's quite amusing. The "genocide" and "9/11" thing was clearly a joke, if that's what this is about. The last time I checked, I'm always nice to people no matter what, even if they are rude to me.
I just want to know what is technically considered "bad" or "wrong" on the wiki these days, so I won't get blocked or whatever. Your message is so goddamn unspecific I can't tell what you're warning me against, aside from being "inappropriate". I'm just so confused about everything...could you tell me what I did? Please? I mean, I can't figure it out for myself why you think I deserve a warning. Did I miss something in the rules? I want to know what tastes you expect me to conform to so I can be proper and suitable in the circumstances and not get blocked.
Joking about tragic events, no matter how long ago they happened isn't really alright. It's disrespectful to the people who were the victims of the incident and it's disrespectful to the friends and families that lost loved ones in the incident. I don't care if it's a joke, it's disrespectful regardless.
Such terms as the one used in your reference to blue pearl are also, obviously, not okay. It's a term used to describe a terrible practice of harming people because of their race or religion.
It's not specifically stated in the rules because it's more about the user having enough common sense to know that it's not appropriate, but it falls under the second line of the Rules page, as well as the second line and fourth of the "No..." section.
Yes, tragic events are controversial topics and people are bound to be offended by it.
Yes, the second term is also controversial and will offend people. It literally means killing people of a certain race and ethnicity.
And yes, you have proved to all of us here that you like to engage in "trollish" behavior; Constantly posting off-topic, extraneous messages and images on posts just for the sake of posting them or in attempt to upset someone.
You have broken the rules before despite previously been a staff member here at the wikia. You already know the rules of the wikia.
Sticks the Badger wrote: Inappropriate as in nonsensical?
No, because the only purpose the comments serve is to possibly offend someone since they have no other meaning. You have done that before and have been blocked for it twice.
You had ignored all previous warnings that have been given to you and continued to troll to the point where you were blocked, in which you immediately came back as if nothing happened and continued the exact same behavior that lead to you being blocked in the first place.
