A Trinidadian-born American, Onika began her career in entertainment after being discovered by rap label 'Young Money'. From there she began her career as a rapper, singer and songwriter under the stage name Nicki Minaj and eventually made her way into acting some time later.
As of now, Nicki Minaj is a very successful musician, she owns over 10 platinum singles and a gold album. She has over 70 music awards and 180 Nominations.
