Permafusion

Permafusion (a portmanteau of "permanent fusion") is the name given to the act of two or more Gems spending most or all of their time fused with each other. Permafusion is often an expression of romantic or otherwise close relationships. A Gem fusion who engages in permafusion is also called such.

The term was coined by Peridot in "Too Far" to describe Garnet.

Garnet
- Consists of a married Ruby and Sapphire
- Current leader of the Crystal Gems
Malachite
- Consisted of a Lapis Lazuli and a Jasper
- Formerly fused for an indefinite period of time
- A toxic relationship involving mutual hatred and exploitation
Topazes
- Pre-Era 3 Homeworld's Caste System allowed pairs of Topazes to remain fused even outside of combat.
- Topaz
  - Appears to reside in Little Homeworld (according to "Little Homeschool")
- Chamber Guard Topaz (possibly)

- Consists of a Ruby and a Pearl
