Pressurized Hydro-Kinetic Crystalline Device (P.H.K.C.D.) is an object that appears in Steven Universe: Crystal Clean. It was constructed by Peridot to combat the Guacola Clones. It is powered by a Cloud Crystal.
Appearance[]
The Pressurized Hydro-Kinetic Crystalline Device appears to have a nozzle with silver, yellow and black colors that points in an L shape. The nozzle connects to a circular glass container which contains the Cloud Crystal. On either side are handles with black rubber handle straps. It has a brown buckle connected to the bottom of the circular container.
History[]
In Steven Universe: Crystal Clean, Peridot constructed the Pressurized Hydro-Kinetic Crystalline Device after obtaining the Cloud Crystal. She presented it to Steven, who put it on and used it to fly through the air. Spotting a nearby Guacola Clone, he immediately took action, spraying a star it had drawn on a wall with its Guacola body. It chases the monster onto a roof, where he sprayed it, which caused its body to fall apart.
Steven later wore it to visit Buck Dewey in the sewers, but failed to use it to fight off a clone who chased them away.
The next day, Steven uses it to battle the Guacola Monster and the clones that it spawned. The monster eventually gains the upper hand against him, Buck, and the gems, and so Steven uses it to propel himself into the Monster, where he bubbled its gem, defeating it.
Trivia[]
- The Pressurized Hydro-Kinetic Crystalline Device is a parody of the F.L.U.D.D. from Super Mario Sunshine.
- He used it to spray a star shape that one of the clones painted on a wall, a star being the symbol of the Crystal Gems. In Super Mario Sunshine, Mario has to spray versions of his logo in order to enter through portals.
