Level 2 Canon This page contains content that is considered "level 2 canon" and may be contradicted by the TV series. |
The Red Eel is a Corrupted Gem and the antagonist in Issue 7 (2017). She prevents the Crystal Gems from obtaining the Cabuchon Circlet until being ultimately defeated by Onion and Yellowtail.
Appearance
The Red Eel Monster has a very long and serpentine coral pink body with a single yellow orange stripe coiling around the entire length of it. Her head is similar in appearance to that of Nephrite's corrupted form, which is just a head with large mandibles and no other discernible features, though the Red Eel's head has the same color as her body. Even the gemstone placement is similar to the Centipeetle Mother's, which is located just behind her mouth. There's also a large red mane immediately after her head. She also has a large red forked tail fin found immediately behind her.
