"Rose's Room" is a room in the Crystal Temple. As the name implies, it once belonged to Rose Quartz. The room was rediscovered by Steven in the episode "Rose's Room".

The room was first seen in "Together Breakfast", whilst Steven descended the Crystal Heart, but it's first major appearance was in "Rose's Room".

Appearance

Rose's Room is a virtually empty "room" with a bright atmosphere, the only things in the room being are white and pink clouds and a pale pinkish "sky". It has been made clear that Rose's Room is considerably large, but the exact size is, as of yet, unknown.

It should also be noted that the desires of the room's owner can alter the overall appearance of the room and create objects. (e.g. If the owner of the room were to say that they wanted a bed, a bed would appear in the room.)

Limitations/Rules of Desires

There are various limitations and/or "rules" as to how the room can be manipulated and how objects are created. They are, in no specific order:

1. The room doesn't have the ability to create real food.
2. The room's ability to fulfill desires is limited by the physical size of the desire in question. This limitation is shown at the end of "Rose's Room", as the room destabilizes when Steven attempts to replicate Beach City.
3. The room can create human replicas, but can't necessarily mimic their emotions correctly.
   • The simulation of Greg in the room was an exception, based on the fact that Steven had a higher understanding of him on a personal level. It also may be because Rose had a romantic relationship with Greg.
   • The simulation of Connie in "Open Book" seemed to follow the real Connie fairly well to the point where Steven was fooled, only figuring it out when he realized how much "Connie" asked what he wanted.
     • The first time the room simulated Connie, it was very obvious that she wasn't real. This change is possibly due to Steven getting to know more about Connie between "Rose's Room and "Open Book".
4. All things that are made in Rose's Room are made up of the pink clouds from the room, and as such can be dissolved when a high enough force is applied to them.
5. Creations in Rose's Room can use the physical and mental attributes they were given to react to different situations around them.
   • This has shown that the room itself may have some level of sentience, as the Connie replica became rebellious and frustrated with Steven's wishes when he contradicted them.
   • The room may possess telepathy as well, as the Connie replica knew that Steven liked the original ending of the books, hounding him until he confessed this to the real Connie.
6. When destabilization occurs, a large portion of any objects that have been wished for will be erased.
7. Only the owner of the room is able to manipulate the room/create objects.

Trivia

• This is the only place where the Tiny Floating Whale has been seen.
• Whenever the room's creations act faulty or erratic, they skip and repeat and glitch their actions, much like a scratched cd or faulty hardware. This implies that the temple's metaphysical properties (or at least Rose's room) is Gem technology and not just magic.
• Connie is the first human shown to enter Rose's Room.
• Unlike humans, Rose's Room has so far not shown the ability to recreate Gems.
