"Sunken Sea Spire" is a soundtrack featured in Grumpyface Studios' mobile game Attack the Light. It is the theme song for the fourth world, the sunken Lunar Sea Spire. This theme focuses on the appearance of the level more than any other song in the soundtrack, heavily focusing on the idea that is level is mostly water-based.
Ambient water droplet and foley sound effects can be heard throughout the entirety of the track, and the bass carries a distinct underwater-esque quality in its sound, the effect obtained through intense frequency-shifting. The sound effects, percussion, and choir all reverberate heavily, while the bell-like synthesizer features notably soft release, giving this level a sense of depth, almost making it feel as if some of the instruments are being played inside the Lunar Sea Spire itself.
Some of the drum machine samples also have their frequencies modified, the higher frequencies being drowned out at times, as if the sounds are actually playing behind a thick wall or underwater.
