Is it safe to consider the Bismuth in Lapis' flashback to be a Crystal Gem?
Since I can't see Homeworld issuing Bismuths, builder gems, to fight as soldiers. It would make sense in normal circumstances that non-soldiers would be trooped in the army in situation of war, but considering Homeworld's response was to build two Kindergartens on Earth to pop out new soldiers, rather than issuing others, its more likely this Bismuth is a Crystal Gem.
