The Telescope is an instrument belonging to Steven and the Crystal Gems. The group mainly uses it to observe incoming threats, Steven typically asking to see the threats through the telescope. It first appears in "Laser Light Cannon".
Appearance[]
It is a beige, cone-shaped telescope with orange rings surrounding the round pieces of glass on either end of it. There is a line of yellow stars that wrap around the middle of the telescope. The telescope is propped up on a tripod.
History[]
"Laser Light Cannon"[]
Pearl uses the telescope to identify the Red Eye, and Steven also uses it to get a closer look.
"The Return"[]
Garnet uses the telescope to see the effect of the Laser Light Cannon and Quartizine Trio on the Gem Warship.
"Cry for Help"[]
Steven and Amethyst take the telescope with them to the Communication Hub to wait for Peridot's next attempt to repair the tower. They manage to cut a hole through a rock to secretly aim the telescope at the Hub. They end up seeing Pearl rebuilding the Hub with the Escape Pod's tractor beam with it.
Trivia[]
- The telescope has stars on its body, which corresponds with the Crystal Gems' symbol.
- Where the telescope is stored is unknown since it is never seen in the Beach House or the Crystal Temple.
