"The Jam Song" is a song sung by Connie and Steven at the beginning of "Sworn to the Sword", while having a picnic on the Temple's hand.
The song is available to stream on Spotify.
Lyrics
[Steven] The sun is bright, our shirts are clean, we're sitting up above the sea. Come on and share this jam with me! [Connie] Peach or plum or strawberry, any kind is fine, you see. Come on and share this jam with me! I'll do my best to give this jam the sweetness it deserves. [Steven] And I'll keep it fresh, I'm jamming on these tasty preserves! [Both] Ingredients in harmony, we mix together perfectly, come on and share this jam with me! |

Trivia
- This is Connie's first song and duet.
- Connie plays her violin while Steven played his ukulele.
- This song's tune is similar to that of the Li'l Butler Theme, but with a slower tempo.
- The title and theme of the song is a play on the double meaning of the word "jam": the lyrics work both as a tribute to the fruit preserve as well as Connie and Steven having a "jam" session.
- In Brazil, the song has been modified to talk about music, instead of jam. An assumed reason would be loss of the double meaning, as none of the meanings of "jam" are similar in Portuguese.
