Appearences
- "On the Run"
- "Reformed" (cameo)
Reception
- Steven has stated that it is his favorite book series.
- Ronaldo has stated that while he admired that the graphic novel adaptation expanded the "Hoboverse", he gave it a C+.
- In "Reformed", "The No Home Boys Mystery Train" makes a brief cameo in Amethyst's junk pile.
Trivia
- The title of Mystery Train may be a reference to the 2nd season Adventure Time episode of the same name, as Rebecca Sugar has worked on Adventure Time before.
- It is likely that The No Home Boys is based off James Bond - According to Ronaldo Fryman, the author of the original No Home Boys died in 1965, so did the original author of the James Bond die in 1964. Also, it is shown that people continued the series, including many remakes, as stated during On The Run, while Steven seems to dislike the remake, similar to real life. Interestingly, the plot itself has nothing to do with it.
