The Teacups

The Teacups is a ride in Beach City Funland that is first seen in "Serious Steven".

Steven ends up destroying the ride, along with other areas of Beach City Funland after he gets motion sick, jumping out and falling on Mr. Smiley, causing the lever to break.

This resulted in him being banned from all rides at Funland for life (though as of "Too Short to Ride", Steven's ban has been lifted for an unknown reason)

In "Too Short to Ride", the teacups were visible in some background shots, and appear to have been fully repaired since the incident in "Serious Steven".

Cultural References[]

This ride is based on teacup rides, an amusement ride characterized by cup-style spinning vehicles atop a turntable-like floor featured in many carnivals, amusement parks, and state fairs.
- The major difference is that this version has the cups spinning in the air, while traditionally they are on the ground.
