    Hello everyone!

As you're all aware Cartoon Network will air the show's last four episodes next week, bringing an end to the series. I'm sure many of you are wondering what this means for the future of the wiki.

First of all, We'd like to start by thanking all the users who have contributed to this wiki over the last 7 years. Without our community of passionate editors, this wiki couldn't have thrived.

The discussion for what happens after the show ends began after the airing of 'Change Your Mind' and the announcement of Steven Universe Future. After much discussion, the staff has decided that because the show is ending, there will be less of a need for editing pages. Once Future has ended each page is to be reviewed, edited where necessary and hopefully finalized. This process would take place over the course of a few months, projected to be nearly complete by the end of summer.

Over the years the wiki has been subject to a lot of vandalism and bad-faith edits, and we will hopefully be locking some of the more major pages in hopes of cutting down on it. If an article requires editing please contact a member of staff. We will be appointing new staff members to watch over the wiki, as many of the current acting staff will be stepping down and moving on.

In terms of the community here on the wiki and the Discord, nothing is expected to change. Discussions on the forums are still welcome, as well as the wiki's Discord server. The staff will still be contactable by their message walls or through the Discord.

Thank you for believing in Steven!!

    Edit 2
After all of your helpful and informative feedback, we have ultimately changed our minds against locking most of the wiki pages! We hope that everyone can work together with us as we work towards finalizing the wiki and eventually working with out newly appointed staff members to keep it safe and up to standards!

Pages such as that will be unlocked until they're finalised. Gallery pages will be locked and changing infobox pngs will halt. Users are still free to create blogs.

    • There’ll probably be comics launched when the show ends. Or, as Rebecca Sugar states in an interview, content on different platforms/ media. Like Gravity Falls, Star vs the Forces of Evil, and Adventure Time, the show never ends as long as there is a fanbase❤️

I agree with the pages being locked, since anyone can edit them/ vandalise them so they must be protected. As for possibly new media about the show, pages can just be edited by the wiki’s staff/ if nessiscary added.

I’m ready for the end of the beautiful series, and it’s about time. The show is really a big thing and has influenced a lot.

    • What about pages for crewniverse members who might go on to make statements about the show, post art of characters, etc.? What about the other pieces of media, like the graphic novel slated to come out in May? What if people notice more animation errors or pieces of trivia that haven't been added yet to the wiki yet? Just because the show itself is over doesn't mean there won't ever be more information to be added. Closing down edits on the entire wiki just seems like overkill to me. I won't be upset to be unable to edit articles, but this whole thing just seems unecessary.

The staff will be the ones who edit it, just contact them. I’m not sure, but I don’t think they edit Crewniverse members’ pages when they make statements about the show. When they post art, the pages do get edited. And for animation errors, it will be added in the pages for the episode itself, just tell an admin of the wiki. Don’t worry about not being able to edit the wiki. The staff will try their best to fix the pages needing completion, and you’re right that just because the show is over dosent mean that they’re won’t be more info added. It’s just a safety percussion by the admins to avoid vandalization, especially that they’ll be inactive most of the time when the show ends. And when the show ends, it just means that it’ll be lest likely to add pages/ edits. For short, contact a member of the staff.

    • It was an honor to have been a fan of this show, I'm glad to have been a part of this community for the last seven years. I remember when this wiki was so small, there were like 30-50 pages here, and I remember reading this wiki since like season 2. I guess everything has to end some day. First Regular Show, then Adventure Time, and now Steven Universe as a whole. I hope you all loved this franchise throughout the years, as well as recent fans, it will be forever in our hearts as long as we live. I plan to have my family watch this show one day and get into it. Good luck ya'll and I hope you all enjoy the finale.

    • Sorry to say, but that's kind of moronic. I get that you're processing this change and you want to make efforts to preserve the good that's been done, but the answer is not to build a tomb and seal the exits. Speaking as an Admin for a Wiki chronicling a series that no longer puts out new content, I'm aghast at how unfathomably short-sighted y'all are being.

Do you honestly believe this community has nothing more to contribute? More details can be added to these pages, new interpretation can be offered for characters, more content can be contributed from editors.

Vandals ARE a concern, I grant you that, but the answer is not to turn off the community. That's what you're doing when you end editing for all the pages; you turn this into a gallery that no one can contribute to, just glance at. You have to cultivate a successive group of Admins who'll help take up the slack, undo bad-faith edits, and encourage the good-faith ones. This isn't an easy task, I know. I come from the BioShock Wiki (a game series which disects politics, philosophy, etc.) and when you discuss anything with challenging content you occasionally encounter people with an agenda, but far, FAR more often you get the people that just want to be a part of this.

But putting the Wiki in lockdown you're saying, "I'm sorry, you missed the boat to be a part of Steven Universe, sucks to be you. Enjoy the museum." Please reconsider or else you're just showing to the fanbase how little you trust them.

        Loading editor
    • I understand where you're coming from but that's stupid; it's literally the opposite of what Fandom Wikis are all about (Whatever happened to "the online portal that anyone can edit!"?)

        Loading editor
    • We have lives and wish to move on. We cannot watch over the wiki forever and protect it from vanalism until the end of time. If there is no more content on the show no more edits will need to be made anyways.

You know what that sounds like? A martyr saying, "I don't trust anyone to do as good a job as we have done." I'm not going to deny that y'all probably have to deal with an inordinate amount of trolls, vandals, and bad-faith actors with this Wiki (controversial ideas and sincere expressions attract all three in scores), but the answer is to find contributors you trust to take on the burden and pass the baton at the proper time so they can take on the mantle.

If you think there's an end point where there's nothing more to add to this Wiki, you're mistaken; there's always more to say. And if you're worried about vandals destroying the community, well you're doing that yourself if you ensure no one can contribute to it.

        Loading editor
    • Sharayna wrote: Honestly I really wouldn't want to thrust such a stressful and thankless job onto anyone else. No one deserves to go thru this

In my honest opinion, being a staff member is not supposed to feel like a stressful or thankless job. The more you engage with a community, the more fun you have and it shouldn't feel stressful at all, and you know you're appreciated for the work you do. (speaking as an admin on other sites myself)

This community is huge and I completely understand why it's tough to maintain from vandals, trolls, etc. That's why we create a balance between real life and the wiki to manage stress felt. Take care of yourself before anything else here. It's okay to take a step back and let others engage or take over positions if necessary, especially if you think it may be time to move onto other things. As mentioned above, some people may be able to handle it.

Honestly, I will respect whatever is decided after this discussion, but I hope you guys take our concerns into consideration before the series ends and things start wrapping up here.

    • Please - I sympathise a lot, but don’t do that.

Wikis are community efforts to share knowledge on a topic. Wikis continue to improve and grow long after shows end. I’m sorry you’ve had such a hard time modding this one: it’s totally thankless. Please just pass the torch on to others. Its not OK to just lock it all down and basically leave.

Wikis are never ‘done’. From Fandoms own TOS:

“ Communities are about working together, and all Fandom communities are open to the public to edit. There is no option to restrict editing to the founder or to a particular group.

Unnecessary page protection is a common mistake that is considered harmful to a wiki’s development. A clear statement of the community’s goals is a better way to promote your vision than technical restrictions.

These are community projects, not personal websites. They are not owned by their founders, nor does the founder’s opinion carry more weight in disagreements than any other user’s opinion. Consensus and cooperation should be the primary means for organizing a community.”

Please reconsider and let us help another way.

        Loading editor
    • I get it, I really do. When the Teen Titans wiki had no consistant admin, I was usually the one who'd fix things, tell the staff about the current issue only to be ignored, try to get people to help me clean the wiki up only to be ignored. I get the logic behind locking everything, but this just creates a stagnant environment. We're all supposed to work together.

I do appreciate you telling us your plans in advance, though.

        Loading editor
    • I agree with everyone else. You're saying that all the pages will be locked, and only the staff can edit them? I thought this was a community. Even if the show's ended, there will always be an error here and there to fix. Any user could fix it.

Whatever happened to the whole thing with the mod applications?

        Loading editor
    • This also prevents wiki adoptions. It was made for cases like this, where the staff can't/won't work on a wiki anymore. We can't meet the editing requirements of a wiki adoption.

        Loading editor
    • I see this as unnecessary. The Avatar wiki hasn't stopped people from editing ever since Korra ended half a decade ago.

        Loading editor

    • TBH if this were a week later I’d think it was an April Fool’s joke.

        Loading editor
    • Isn’t it against Fandom’s rules & guidelines to lock down an entire wiki?

        Loading editor
    • As a former admin and bureaucrat of this wiki, to those who may not know, I understand completely. I understand the stress of managing a site for a topic you loved, with little to no gratification in contrast to unfavorable circumstances that always consistently end up arising. I also understand that it is difficult to let go of being in full control of a site you put so much time into. But no matter how much you have put in, the site belongs to the platform—neither you nor I on our own.

If you are unable to handle and dedicate time to up keeping the content on this community, you must find people who will. Easier said than done—I say confidently that I struggled badly to let go of having a say in everything and have my way out-rule others’, even well after I resigned from my position—but that’s how it goes. Wikis have no end, they keep going because they are run, more or less, by community.

It is wrong to lock away all of the content from users’ contributions once deemed “finished,” as it goes against the reason there are wiki platforms like this, as well as Fandom’s own outlined terms. There will always be minor changes and improvements that can be made to a page, even if it is not an addition of brand new information.

I hope you realize this message is in good faith—please know you have done well and that you deserve to be thanked and respected for that. I just urge you to understand the critical importance of keeping things appropriately open and passing the reigns to a new group instead of attempting this

Bakugan was gone for 6 years (2012-2018) until the reboot came and the Bakugan Wiki never did this. It is better to just find someone else who wants to take over for you than close the entire wiki.

Considering this move can get the wiki Thanos snapped away (7 years of thousands of people's hard work just gone like that) you can understand why someone would react now instead of waiting until you actually break the rule.

The wiki won't be deleted due to a lockdown. The action of locking down the wiki will be precluded by Fandom Staff. If more drastic options are needed due to resistance (which there likely won't be with reason, so don't get hopes up), then there are levels of this happening

      • The locking administrators get demoted from their positions
      • The bureaucrats repromoting people who then lock pages again get demoted
      • Those who continue to lock the wiki in some form get blocked.

The wiki will never get deleted because a team attempts to lock it down. That's not why wikis get closed. It wouldn't be wise to report to Fandom Staff before anything happens. Wait for responses, discuss more, and calm down.

      Kind regards

May I please ask that you discuss it publicly rather than it being an Inner Party, closed-doors affair? This isn’t like you’re switching off a single feature: this is turning this from a community Wiki into a closed-shop with a ‘suggestions’ box.

I agree. The status of a wiki should be a public discussion. On my active community wiki, all our discussions are done on a public Discord channel. Wikis are community ran so the community should always be involved in the discussions of how to change things.

Cheese, I’m confused. There’s a real lack of message clarity here:

CrystalMomSquad announced this as a decided plan-of-action. One by one articles are to be deemed final and locked to all except The Inner Party.

Sharayna talks about wanting to lock up and move on because it’s a miserable job modding this site.

    • The pages will be locked but you can still request an admin here or in the discord server to unlock it for the time being to add any new information. The community element of the wiki is still there, it just needs to go through an admin before it is added to a page.

With the shows end, the pages won't be locked instantly. There will be a grace period to listen for new information the crewniverse may drop at the series' end and that will be added to the pages. After all is said and done, the pages will be locked to prevent vandalism as any new information will be foreseeably released sparingly.

There might be a need to unlock the pages again if the crewniverse decides to still continue the series (don't get your hopes up, let the series end peacefully). New spin-offs can have their own pages, that goes to any new comics, games, and any other media. Users aren't locked from making new pages.

That's basically it. If you want my personal opinion, I am neutral because I just got notified of this 30 minutes ago. I'm becoming more informed every second, though.

    • The Want
To us, or most of us on the SU Wiki Staff, we see Wikia as a hub for information more than a community. A place to house and share all of the information about the show that we love or used to love.
Our "community" has always been the chat room, and now the Discord server where its a lot easier to stay in direct contact and have active discussions.

For me personally, I think that Wikia should focus on being a hub for information and that other, more dedicated communication sites should be where the community discusses.

      The Reason
For 5 years we've been volunteering at a thankless job; every single day we've dealt with vandalism, bad edits, sockpuppetry, and harassment. I honestly cannot keep track of how many threads I or my friends have received towards ourselves or our families over these 5 years. I'd love to say that being an admin is fun and rewarding but it honestly feels like a trap. It's very damaging to us and our mental health to be here and the majority of us want to move on

Nobody deserves to have to deal with unruly people every single day in the hopes that one day new users will come along that you can actually befriend, after years of being nice to people and having them exploit us or get close to us and then turn out to be an awful person.

The real truth is that we do not trust our users, because almost every single time that we've been nice or we've been open it's come back to bite us.

Former administrator Pymien lied to everyone about who they were and faked having cancer in order to get sympathy from the acting administrators and users to be put into a position of power. They then proceeded to talk down to other users, attack them, perform bad-faith edits, and ultimately vandalism before they created several sockpuppets to continue.

Former chat moderator AwesomePeridot was put into power when we had the users doing the election of chat moderators. They were okay for a time until it was found out they were soliciting and requesting pictured of other users until they were eventually found out and harassed one of our admins.

Former administrator AwesomeSteven went on a random demoting spree after being inactive for a short time.

Former chat moderator SticksTheBadger was an upstanding moderator until they suddenly started to behave strangely, continuously posting strange and disturbing images on threads. They brushed it off as "Just memes" and continued, eventually posting memes on a thread of a user who was contemplating suicide.

We've had (and still have) several users who misbehaved and were blocked, and proceeded to constantly create sockpuppets to harass users and vandalize pages for 2 - 3 years.

I honestly cannot count how many death threats I've received personally, let alone the other admins. Some users have created videos on Youtube detailing how they are going to murder our families and then themselves. Users have created sockpuppets to accuse the admins of being the reason their "friend" had committed suicide for being blocked for vandalism or trolling. There are at LEAST 20 different Steven Universe Wikias out there who are copying our CSS and pages word-for-word because they were blocked for being toxic.

In one case a formerly blocked user wormed their way into our friend group, learning all of our insecurities and personal information and used it against us in attacks. Some users have found locations or workplaces of some of the staff and in some cases posted it online. A few times users have created attack threads on reddits, calling for an attack because they were blocked for being toxic. There are several take-down videos probably still currently on Youtube detailing how terrible we are as people and how we should not be allowed to be in power.

Like, I get it. "Blah blah, what a sob story." but we are people with feelings, all of this stuff weighs on us and its hard knowing that even the good users hate or at least SEEM to hate on us for our decisions.

We are the bad guys because we removed comments. We are the bad guys because we want to lock the wiki pages (which we may not, we are still discussing), and We are the bad guys because we are sometimes fed-up with users.

I agree that the comment change was very poorly communicated and came very suddenly, but It was a result in a rapid increase of harmful comments being made regarding LGBT people and characters. Try as we did, we just could not catch all of the bad comments and did not want our young users exposed to that anymore.

Locking the Wikia down was started as a bit of a joke between us first, but grew more into a "Well, it makes sense" kind of scenario. We aim/aimed to spend half a year after the end of the show fixing up all the pages and making them presentable and full of all the information we had before locking them. We would also still have new administrators on the lookout for vandalism and to unlock or edit pages as needed.

I absolutely agree that we can be rude and that some people do not deserve it, but after so many incidents we kind of default to "Oh, well they are acting in bad faith" because that was the real outcome in so many cases in the past for us. We are people and we do get stressed from having a constant onslaught of bad edits or vandalism or sockpuppets or annoying users. I deeply apologize for my behaviour to anyone who was acting in good faith and I grouped you in with the bad users, but it's just hard not to at this point.

Sometimes we just like to joke about things as well, we make memes and like to laugh because it makes dealing with the stress a little easier. Maybe we should have taken a step back and let other people deal with some of the problems when we were really going thru it, but again we just care too much about this place.

      The Summary
We aren't perfect, but we do GENUINELY want what is best for this place. If we did not care we would have left years ago due to the stress involved.

Wikia, to most of us, is for information and not so much a community. For us particularly, we have trouble finding community in a place that has caused us so much consistent stress.

We are at fault for things, mainly not being more open with our users and for sometimes being rude, but I hope that you at least understand why we have these issues trusting new users.

I do not want a pity party from people, despite knowing that posting this is going to accrue some "Sympathy Seeking" comments; I just want to be transparent and honest.

What I want is for this wiki to be nice, safe, and informative for people who want information on the show. That is all I want.

I'm heartily sorry to hear all of that. That all sucks and I'd love to say I'm not surprised at the depths of horror on the Internet but it still shocks me. The vitriol. The hatred.  That all bites.

Well, to fundamentals, this is my position: I sometimes try to fix content. I rewrite it a little to be more readable. Correct typos. Add reference links. I am as competent as you or anyone else, and the community is supposed to value this contribution. That's the point of a Wiki, after all. I made those efforts in good faith. The administration is wanting to use its power in the name of quality to hide any contribution I make behind a content approval wall with no community oversight of that power. That strikes me as... I don't know... wrong I suppose.

Ultimately it doesn't matter. I have no power here so what the admins think is what will happen. But that's not really how community content should work.  There, that's my 2p done with.

Normally I wouldn't apply for stuff like this but not only does it appear most if not all the mods plan on leaving at some point in the future plus this is the wiki I'm most active on.

      Resume:

      • 1803 edits (counting this edit)
      • Experience with moderating on other wikis
      • Understanding of the rules
      • Multitasking ability (good for occasional mass editing, though I don't do that often)
      • Literally on for over half of my waking time (pros of having no life)
      • Severe doubt (good for dealing with false leaks/false info)
      • Ability to walk away from a conversation that is bothering me without resorting to insulting or mocking the other person (don't know if that's good for moderating, but I'm told mods here get this kind of stuff from time to time; as demonstrated above, does not work 100% of the time)
      • HTML capabilities (not the best, but I think it's good enough for the wiki)
        • Minor CSS capabilities (minor, so probably best to look for someone else if you need someone with CSS capabilities)

After much discussion, the staff has decided that because the show is ending, there will no longer be a need for editing pages. Once Future has ended each page is to be reviewed, edited where necessary, finalized and locked. This process would take place over the course of a few months and

This means after a page is finalized no users will be able to edit the page. We made this decision because once the show ends and editing traffic slows, articles will become targets for vandalization. Unfortunately, the staff cannot spend every day monitoring the wiki constantly. If an article requires editing please contact a member of staff.

In terms of the community here on the wiki and the Discord, nothing is expected to change. Discussions on the forums are still welcome, as well as the wiki's Discord server. The staff will still be contactable by their message walls or through the Discord.

Thank you for believing in Steven!!

      —About 3pm UTC

      I guess I will.

If we could mention what staff role we desire, I would like to be a Support Admin.

      • 957 edits, including the times I edit the reply
      • I am the most active slightly before and after an episode is set to air.
        Example:
Before March 20, the day the two episodes before the four-part finale, "Mr. Universe" and "Fragments", were set to air, I had a total of about 876 edits on the Steven Universe Wiki. Starting 4:09pm UTC that same day and ending the final time I edit the reply, I had added over 9% to the number of total edits I had on March 20.
      • If I do get a role, I know my task is to edit and finalize pages so they could be viewed later by potential users that could be visiting/on the Wiki.
I have knowledge on the regulations, however, if I am approached for help, I will need to review the policy page to resolve whatever that person needs assistance with.
      • I have experience with HTML/editing.
I usually add missing details to pages, and slightly more sophisticated grammar. If will be needed to put something on the page, I will encode it in one of these two ways.
I look for the necessary code needed on other pages (which I know have what I will be needing,) and copy/paste it into the page I will be working to finalize.
I write my own code down (something minor, like writing links, templates, making text bold, etc.)
I also have experience with making renders (in .png format.)
If I will be needed to make a render, I will do it if it isn't too time-consuming. I usually add renders with permission of higher-up staff, however, if one isn't in the best quality it can be (for viewing), I will make a version of that one of my own and add it without any worries.
      • I am willing to assist users that need help in a positive way.
        Example:
I could resolve edit disputes and announce it in such way, I could make renders for people who will need them to help finalize pages, among other things.

    • If harassment is that much of an issue I reccommend reccording all instances. There are multiple legal organisations dealing with that, and at the absolute least it is possible to issue bans on Fandom as a whole.

Otherwise, while it is a thankless job you really do need to trust your community. On the long term this action will be catastrophic and it will set a bad precedent in a fandom already as toxic as it is.

    • It's an understandable desicion, but then it loses its title as a wiki.

As many people here have said, there is still going to be a lot of new art and character development after the series ends. Adventure Time, even though it has ended over a year ago, would be a great example.

Interpretations, too, depend on many minds working to think of a common idea. We all know a new follower of SU would probably think differently from one who has seen most of the episodes when they first came out. New and old followers combined are important to us to broaden the content, along with making it more accurate. This is a huge reason for having a wiki.

Additionally, locking the wiki will show that we don't trust in the SU community, which could potentially lower our reputation (which seems to already not be so good).

Now, on the other hand, once we lose a significant amount of moderators, then that's when such measures should be taken. I know the wiki will certainly be a hotspot of vandilism if it lacks moderation. But knowing the better of community, I think moderators will still retain interest in this wiki for a long time, so my counterpoint may not even be valid then.

EDIT: I have looked into the CCP and Terms of Use, along with a few other FANDOM created articles. According to the Community Creation Policy, under PUBLIC EDITING:

"Communities are about working together, and all Fandom communities are open to the public to edit. There is no option to restrict editing to the founder or to a particular group. Unnecessary page protection is a common mistake that is considered harmful to a wiki’s development. A clear statement of the community’s goals is a better way to promote your vision than technical restrictions."

And in the Terms of Service, under CONTENT THAT IS SUBMITTED TO FANDOM COMMUNITIES OR WIKIS:

"You agree that you will not use the communities in any manner that is contrary to the Community Creation Policy"

The current proposed decision is clearly violating the Terms of Use. You are restricting editing to only a certain group.

Not a fan. There's no such thing as happily ever after; there's always more work to do. (Also, like, I started a project to put alt text on every image that would benefit from a description of its contents specifically for screen reader users (but I stopped because it's big tired work that takes hours when you're doing it alone and basically required I use AutoWikiBrowser just to generate the list of pages to look at) and I'm sure stuff like accessibility is not going to be taken into account if a page is fullprotected, because it's a big multifaceted thing that a lot of people let slip because it's not at the forefront of their mind.)

(It's also against the TOS to fullprotect large swaths of content pages but I'm sure you've been told that. And I did read the bit you're re-discussing, just wanted to add my two cents.)

Ironically, you actually can't lock it, that's against Fandom's terms of service.

17 out of 20 episodes have officially come out as of now (in America; idk about other countries) and the other 3 will come out (in America) on March 27th.

        Loading editor
    • No, I meant the finale. Also I live in America.

        Loading editor
    • I said that because I have not seen “Homeworld Bound” online. Just a little clarification.

        Loading editor
    • Homeworld Bound was released to the CN app/website--as well as services whose offerings match the app/site's offerings, i.e. cable VOD--Monday, March 23 (the same day it was, as far as anyone can tell or has said, set to accompany the canceled in-person Sing-Along event for the movie in theaters). AFAICT, the reasoning for releasing it was sort of to make up for the aforementioned theater debut being called off (as in, I saw something to that effect in one of Ian Jones-Quartey's tweets about it).

The other three parts of the finale have not aired yet; they're still set for a TV premiere Friday, March 27 at 7pm (or, well, technically parts 2-4 start around 7:15pm but shhh).

    • If Steven WERE to corrupt, Yellow would be able to heal his corruption scars :D

    • But I swear if the show ends with Steven returning to Beach City several years later to help raise a child who has the Gemstone of one of the main Gems, I'm going to throw hands...my hands...because I will just give up. I mean that would be a good way to come full circle, Steven coming home and raising another hybrid to become a CG, only this time the child won't be repeatedly traumatized, and it would be interesting if it was one of the Diamonds, but I just couldn't handle it if the child was the child of a main character.

    • It has been certainly a journey. I remember the first time I joined here right after Jail Break, I've spent a good time hanging out here. What still bothers me however is that Nephrite hasn't appeared except in the intro, but there are clues that she will indeed appear:

      1. All the other Nephrites have appeared.

      2. The drawing she made on the fridge has appeared in more than one episode.

      3. All the other characters in the intro have appeared except for her.

      4. Steven's mental situation could be a great opportunity for her to help him just like he did back then.

      5. All episodes where she plays an important role has the word  "Monster" on it (the only exceptions were LFHTH and Gem Glow, but one had more important things to do with White and the other was just the first episode).

    • I'm honestly ready for the show to end. I'll be sad, that's a guarantee, but I have a lot of other shows and communities I'm a part of.

There's also the fact that SUF has really made me lose my passion for the show, and one of my favourite characters has become my least favourite.

But, honestly? I'm done, and I'm ready to move on.

Steven Universe Future, not Steven Universe.

It was Steven. He's very unlikable (imo) and I find him genuinely annoying. There's other reasons, but I'm too tired to type them as of right now.

I think that's kind of the point, he's going through PTSD. It is completely changing him. I see it that Steven is mentally sick and he has to cure himself and return to being our Steven. They are making him irritating because he's losing his mind, we know the Crewniverse did this on purpose. It really is quite profound, and hauntingly real. Now it can still be completely be understandable that you wouldn't like SUF, despite this, and I know you have your other reasons too, but I just thought I might as well share my point of view anyways.

    • It's weird. Whenever I remember that SU is ending, I'm so happy, but I end but just bursting into tears...

        Loading editor
    • If the show ever comes back as a sequel series...it needs twenty one minute episodes. The Crew did amazing with the ten minute format but twenty one minutes would allow them more time to explore different topics.

If I wana be honist, I don't think Steven Universe Future was nasisary, I think they should have ended off with the Steven Universe Movie.
