  • Wouldn't Hessonite, Demantoid and Pyrope should have pearls? I just don't get it! They have a colony, a palace, ships, quartzes, jades and peridots. It doesn't make sense for them to have pearls and they simply decided to not appear. Pearls are faithful servants who stay with their owners carrying their things and seeing their appointments, and they are not even mentioned! So it's more logical that they don't have pearls.

The same thing happens with Emerald, who have a lot of ships and citrine guards at her disposal, but doesn't have a pearl, not even mentioning having one.

What a gem would have to do to have one? The Diamonds have pearls just for being diamonds. Lonely Pearl and Aubergine Pearl would be owned from one of the White Diamond's gems (based on their colors), who are importants and powerful just from being created by her. Now we know how important was Morganite...

Garnet and Emeralds are the highets rank gems in the abandoned caste system, as far as we know. Could Morganite be more important than them?

    • I see no reason that they don't and we just haven't seen them. Emerald, for example, is only shown in a close-up on a screen, so her Pearl, assuming she has one, is likely off screen somewhere.

I think you're right about Emerald, that's a possibility, but in Unleash the Light that's doesn't make any sense. So it’s not that they didn’t have the budget or creativity to do this precisely because they could appear indirectly. It would be clever if they just said something like: "Where is my damn pearl? She will be shattered if she won't get here in a sec". So it leads me to believe that Pyrope and Demantoid don't have pearls, even if it doesn't make any sense.

I don't think Garnet's are naturally occuring gemstones. I think they're only made from fusions since Jasper and Blue are able to identfiy Garnet as a fusion on the spot. So asking if Garnets can have Pearls is irrelevant because everyone is equal in era 3, however Garnets would not have been present in gem society in any way in era 2.

But they are. Hessonite, Demantoid, and Pyrope are Garnets. Blue Diamond laughed and asked "Does that call itself a Garnet?", showing that Garnets do exist.

The same happens with Crazy Lace Agate considering agates like Holly Blue Agate and Blue Lace Agate, with quartz fusions like Rainbow Quartz and Smoky Quartz considering other gems of the same class (amethysts, jaspers, carnelians, rose quartzes et cetera); Sardonyx is a type of quartz just like Flint and Chert as well. Happens with the Obsidian Fusion (Rose and Steven) considering Snowflake Obsidian, Lemon Jade (we have other jades of this color) and Zebra Jasper (fusion) referring to Zebra Jasper (singular).

I think our garnet is a Rhodolite or a Star Garnet (since the star is the symbol of the Crystal Gems).

As for unleash the light it is era 3 nobody own anybody anymore even if they did have a pearl they don't own them anymore.
