how do you think it'll go down? Who will:

get shattered? Will it be peri? she's come so far? maybe jasper or lapis because they might be defused? any of the crystal gems?! Or maybe another gem altogether...

    What'll transpire?

How will the cluster get shattered?

Will the CG get traumatized seeing as they are trying to kill their former friends?

    Will they make it?

    Will it be a special?!

    • I think it will be extremely anticlimactic automatic drill action through the cluster

        Loading editor
    • What if it starts emerging

And they bring the gemstone into space?!

    • I guess we'll get the epic battle in Gem Drill.

    • I don't think it'll be too big, they just have to destroy the Cluster and boom it's over...of course Steven or Peridot might be forced to fuse to destroy it but still just boom boom it's gone.

    • I think they will get to Cluster's Kindergarten and discover that Cluster, enourmous big forced fusion, has some signs of collective intelligence. I think shattering the Cluster without destroying Earth will not be an option, Steven, thanks to his child nature, probably would make an alliance with monster to protect the Earth.

Of course, this would also destroy the earth. Steven is a child, but he's not an idiot, he wont let others die pointlessly. And collective intelligence seems unlikely for a parasitic race

        Loading editor
    • It's not parasitic more so it is forced. Like the gems that make up the cluster don't want to be together because it is painful and they lost their individuality but they are forced to.

        Loading editor
    • No, they are literally a parasitic race. If they are all parasites, they will all want to dominate others at the others expense, a crab in the bucket mentality, if you will

        Loading editor
    • What about fusions like the hand cluster? Like how when you fuse you lose yourself and since there's like ten screaming souls in one gemstone they are of course menacing.

        Loading editor
    • Exactly. Thousands wouldn't help

        Loading editor
    • But that took time. They had to fully mature and had to spend time losing themselves. Like i heard the thing that the hand cluster wasn't fully gone, and the reason it grabbed onto garnet was to ask for help.

Indeed, maybe something happens that puts Steven into a coma and he spends a couple episodes trying to wake up until he meets Rose and she gives him a few words of advice before he wakes up. Or Lapis finds out the sad truth of how she got trapped in the mirror and the pain from the revelation is so intense that she poofs for a few episodes. (Wouldn't surprise me if this happened to be honest, I mean come on it's Lapis)

Not until they destroy the Cluster which should happen in Gem Drill.

Yeah, but I thought gems poof when they're severely injured. But maybe a gem can retreat back to their gem when they want to, I'm not sure. But, I think when Lapis finds out how she got trapped in the mirror in the first place she'll either become depressed for a few episodes or she'll just hide or stay in spot (like if it's possible to add rooms to the Crystal Temple, Lapis will just go in her room and not come out for a few episodes ) for a few episodes or she'll do both.

Where did you hear about the Malachite arc not happening for a little while longer at?

    • Because they still are doing the gem drill so until that arc is over they are most likely not gonna do the malachite one.

You have a point there I mean Steven might just take Lapis and Peridot to the barn so Lapis can't accidentally kill Peridot if she has a meltdown because remember, we don't know how Lapis will act after what's happened and we don't know what affect losing herself to the fusion will have, if Amethyst and Garnet where sore after they only began losing themselves then Lapis might be a bit of a mess after losing herself like poor Jasper.

well, we don't know if jasper has lost herself yet. in the mental battle, lapis just became the dominant personality. For all we know, jasper could still be fighting back, just lapis has lost it.

I don't think they'll kill off Peridot, she's a very popular character and is given lots of love! Also, why would Crewniverse kill her off? They won't kill off a character that is well loved by the fans and even by Crewniverse! They draw lots of pictures of her! Don't worry I think Peridot will be around for a LONG time!

It's sad if you can relate to it. Like if you feel worthless you might empathize with the CG and it'll be sad to you.

    • But we know that it didn't emerge yet, so I think the Cluster looks like big gemstone. rainbow-colored :3 And I still think it can show some symptoms of intelligence or "gemetic memory". It's built of former members of Crystal Gems probably, so it could remember Rose Quartz.

I know there are many people who wants great battle against enemy, but if the Cluster is such big as we can see, it's impossible to defeat it in conventional way. Unconventional may be difficult too, because if the Cluster is sensible, it could be mentally broken :P

    • Prediction:  The Gems will find that they cannot destroy The Cluster with the Gem Drill and it begins to awaken, causing earthquakes all around the world.  Desperate, Garnet has an idea and they go back to the moon base to get the Moonstone, which has the power to warp the Cluster out of the Earth.  It works, but then the Cluster hatches in space and they still have a very big problem as it is headed towards Earth.  The CGs are literally on the Cluster as if it is a planet and watching in horror, helpless as it close in on Earth.  Steve remembers what Garnet says about forced fusions being wrong and has compassion for the Cluster.  He ends up fusing with it to the horror of the Crystal Gems.  But he ends up communicating with the Cluster entity with his overpowering love and convinces it to unfuse.  It proceeds to fall apart into a million crystal gems with Steven being freed as well and Lapis gathering up everyone and flying them back to Earth.  The Crystal Gems give The Cluster a proper burial to honor them.

    • I just thought of something. The Gems are going to be going hundreds of miles below ground into the Earth's mantle or possibly beyond that, for Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Peridot this won't be a problem but Steven is half human so how is he going to survive down there?

        Loading editor
    • Steven has abilities that only work when the writers need it. Like he needs oxygen but somehow he can survive in space.

        Loading editor
    • Basically I assume that Steven will probably be able to.

        Loading editor
    • Not exactly, Warp Space had very little air but still had some air and Lapis's tower I don't think even got out of the Earth's atmosphere because there was enough wind to blow Lapis' hair and dress, the moon base well without air sound waves can't move so they pump a thin layer of air into the base so the Gems can talk. I guess Steven require less air then humans but will die if there's not a thin layer or slowly die if the air's too thin to give him a viable oxygen supply.

That's a little harder to explain, the air might've just barely not have been as thin as Warp Space at the height they were. Or maybe Pearl made a functioning oxygen tank and Steven took in enough air to survive the lack of air. (I know that's not quite how air works but his body might work differently)

    • Usually the writers come up with stuff to benefit the plot holes. Like Steven doesn't age correctly so we can keep drawing him this way.

        Loading editor
    • Give the writers some credit, they have been having him slowly mature not only in personality but voice, his voice had gotten deeper, also at least they gave a viable reason on why he doesn't age physically. Pokemon just mentions time passing but Ash is still ten when at least two years should've gone by by now, Steven is fourteen but looks eight because he's half gem and half human.

Agreed on this one.  Also, I don't really mind if the writers let Steven breathe in space or underground.  It is believable enough to me that he can because he's half Gem.

    • yeah but on island adventure the gems stop steven from going with because they are going under water

    • Like how come he can breathe in space but not underwater? I'm not saying the writers are doing a bad job I'm just saying it as a joke. Like how on family guy they make fun of how characters like stewie don't age. Usually they come up with some sort of excuse to keep from drawing a new design

        Loading editor
    • Well, maybe underwater actually would fill his lungs with water cuz he would want to breathe, meanwhile in high atmosphere he would be only low in air and his form would maintain pressure, and then in vacuums he has to keep the air inside of him for him to survive.

    • Lack of air won't be a problem when they go to fight The Cluster or smash it or whatever the heck is going to happen because air would move into the hole dug due to gravity. The problem will be the immense heat and pressure that exists that far underground.

    • What are they even gonna do once they find the Cluster?

        Loading editor
    • My guesses:

      1. Use the drill to break it up

      2.  Use the moonstone to warp it

      3.  Somehow pull it  out of the Earth

      4.  Somehow communicate with it, perhaps by fusing with it, to help it unfuse or reason with it in some way

      5.  A giant bubble made by Steven

      The outcomes could be:

      1. Cluster destroys earth and is a slave to Homeworld

      2.  Cluster destroys earth and goes rogue destroying other worlds, incluing possibly Homeworld

      3.  Cluster's sentience is somehow brought out and it does not want to destroy anything; earth is saved

      4.  Cluster is destroyed or contained in some way; earth is saved

      5.  Cluster is broken up into smaller parts, with different personalities and motivations; earth is saved
