  • So, Since this Episode, Steven has been able to summon his shield more casually, starting with "The Return". But, IF This the episode that he mastered the ability, then it's not Canon, but if it's not Canon, how did he mastered his shield. Did he do it off screen? Did it just happen? Was this Episode actually Canon?

    • "Say Uncle" was confirmed to be non-canon. Maybe Steven figured how to summon his shield after "The Return".

    • Forget that, I find it more confusing said his catch phrase in "Friendship", if it not canon than Steven wouldn't have been influenced by him and say it. Ha ha.

    • Isn't it canon that Steven can summon his shield when he wants to protect someone ?

      Also, isn't Say uncle semi-canon ?

Yes, and Uncle grandpa, himself said, "Don't worry bro. None of this is canon."

    • Sooo, if it's not Canon, then how did he do it?

Say Uncle is before the Return, due to Garner a form being the first form, so, did Steven master it before or after?

Like I said before, Steven might have figured out how to summon his shield on his own.
