  • The final episode of StevenBomb :(

    • I guess we couldn't really expect anything too big to happen after all that eh?

I'm still in a weird mindset since the half hour special felt like a season finale to me, so I feel like it's over, yet we've still got 2 more episodes. I wonder if they'll just be downtime, recovery, and a set up for the next season, or if something else is gonna happen to send the season off with.

Also I was totally waiting for Jasper to come out of the water when they were talking.

    • Steven has released the costs of war and might have some PTSD being a prisoner of war briefly. His fear of death by the gems and his care for Connie pity he is growing up way to fast such is his life. Makes Connie more important. Ronaldo spitting some knowledge of superiorty to Steven makes him very complex. I am surprised that STeven wanted to keep people from their homes. Kind of authoritan of him.

      AMythyst jazz hands loved it

    • A nice epilogue episode, not as mad-paced as the two-parter but still good. A good down-time episode. I wonder what their going to do with all the discarded gem tech, I hope Pearl will be able to rewire it.

    • After watching this new episode, Connie seemed to be all worried and sad about Steven. He just doesn't wanted to tell Connie about what happened to him and the gems, because she'll might freak out like Greg. )-:>

This new episode was awesome, nervous, and a bit sad. And I love this episode! (((-:>

It's even too bad that Steven and Connie didn't try to kiss, let. I guess some other time. (((-:

I also like Steven's song. So touching. *sniff* (((-:>

    • I hope everything goes smooth, as it was starting to be in the end with Connie and Steven getting things straight, and their alright....Even though Peridot is somewhere out there.

Yes, there are 52 episodes of Season 1 and three of those were skipped because they're filler. The creators confirmed that The Return/Jailbreak was the Season 1 finale, this takes place immediately after Jailbreak and thus must be Season 2's first episode. I don't get why so many people aren't getting this.

Nope, Jail Break was the season finale and this was the first episode of Season 2.

Well this episode was meant to show the effects of the battle on Beach City, and more importantly, Steven. Not every episode can be an action-packed battle in space like Jail Break

    • Aww, Steven's face when he admited that he wanted to still be friends with Connie was one part cute, one part funny, and one part sad.

Steven kind of overreacted, but he isn't exactly used to such stress. Makes sense after seeing his father hyperventilate that he would go overboard with preventing Connie from hearing the full story.

This is an appropriately more mellow episode, and a good way for Steven to learn a few more things, especially the gravity of being a Crystal Gem. Steven's song was great, too.

    • Its labelled as a season one ep, but its pretty much a season two ep. It also has that beginnings feel to it, as we see from Beach City rebuilding itself from a storm of gem crazyness. And Steven's song was nice, plus its good to see him finally realize the CRUSHING reality of his situation. Nice development there.

    • Really touching episode. I'm glad Connie was able to snap Steven out of his funk--he does not play the brooding, tortured soul well. The song was fantastic, as usual, and I love how Connie's ring tone became the song's melody. And Amethyst's exchange with Pearl about the crocodile/jazz hands had me LOLing pretty hard. I love the heck outta this show...

I don't it should be labelled as season one episode though, becuase Burnett confirmed it was season 2

    • It is a bit confusing I admit, on my TV its labeled as season one...episode fifty four. Who wants to bet that was some insane prank by the scheduling people?

        Loading editor
    • It shouldn't be too confusing. StevenBomb needed a conclusion so they decided to cut three episodes before The Return and Jail Break. These 3 episodes are still technically are apart of season 1 but will air in season 2. Full Disclosure is the season 2 premiere.

    • I finally found this discussion!

I thought the episode was kinda slow, and it was definitely filler in my opinion. I like how they started the episode immediately after the end of the last episode, but it doesn't really change my opinion. It was nice to see Connie again!

    • It's more of an Epilogue episode.

Oh, how weird...Hope they change it soon so they dont keep confusing people. Though there will be 104 episodes instead of 100?? or will they put more episodes into season 2??..or do you think they will change that soon ?? gosh i feel lost, sorry.

    • This episode had my heart in a death grip up until Steven admited how he really felt. I DID NOT want them to brek up only to come back together a few episodes later. SU isn't that kind of show.

104 spilted into 2 seasons with one having 49 and other 55. Seems fair, Unequal, but thats cool! Still many New episodes will happen!!  Maybe they will finally go back to space and see whats up over there!

Also, I think we can all stop being obnoxious fanboys about where the season starts or ends.  No one's winning and it doesn't matter - let's just enjoy the show.

    • This show has basically ruined my life, because it has BECOME my life. It's a bit unhealthy. But anyway...

This was a decent episode. I didn't dislike it, but I didn't love it either. It was nice seeing Steven care so much about Connie, but he did go overboard. Then again, it was completely understandable given the circumstances. The song he sang was also quite touching~

      Favorite moments:

Amethyst - "I see you, P!" *bear hugs Pearl*

Amethyst - I could be...the crocodile! Jazz hands!

Pearl: You always say you'll be the crocodile, but you never commit!

    • Finally was able to watch this! This episode was... okay. Basically a cool down after the big climax in the previous episodes. It wasnt my favorite, but I actually didn't hate it. Love the song and understanding on Steven's feelings, his stress... his tramua. I actually felt as concern and nervous as Connie when she confronted Steven. Nothing will be exactly the same from this point forward, but having a bit of normalcy was needed. The show can't become too focus and rely on action- there needs to be an occassional break, wrap up, and other material to give a show weight, or else else the story loses itself.

Hmm... I wonder if Rose ever did something/or acted similar to Steven in similar situation before.

    • Just watched the episode. Beautiful episode, Steven wanted to break up with connie because he didn't want her to get hurt since there are probably going to be more Homeworld gems out to get him (Remember Jasper saying Yellow Diamond will want to see this), but she didn't want their friendship to end and they stuck together. May not be as action packed as The Return/ Jail Break but it is a nice episode to cool down.
