  • Some people complain that Garnet is currently getting little screen time.

I think that is just the logical consequnse of her being so good at everything. Garnet is at peace with the world and oneself unlike most of the characters in Beach city. And she can handle most of the things the universe throws at her. She rarely create problems, but can often solve them.

So everytime she takes action, you know, that it's super cereal. But she is kinda overqualified for episodes that aren't about saving Beach City or the world. I even suspect that Garnet sometimes simply decides not to get involved so Steven and the other learn to be more indepedent.

A think as soon as things get more serious, she will get more screen time.

    • Out of the past 13 episodes, she has appeared 4 times, She is suppose to appear in about 19/20 episodes.

The intensity is currently ramping up again, that would mean that they might need Garnet again. On the other side, Steven and Connie are becoming proficient fighters and seeing Stevonnie fight is pretty cool.

Steven and Connie might need some advice about Fusion from Garnet.

Considering how many characters have their own plot going on, it could be hard to make room for Garnet. The show started with 4 main characters and the side characters didn't get much screen time. Since then a lot of new character were introduced and many of them got an episode.

    • To be honest it could having nothing to do with show events, it could be due to the Voice Actor Estelle not having enough time to record for Steven Universe, and for her Music career. I mean in Crack the Whip she had very few lines, and I think lack of available Voice Actors was the reason for having Beach City Citizen Episodes, because essentially the VAs for the minor characters aren't as busy or as expensive as the ones for the main cast

Garnet is the strong and silent type."Im their fury , im thier patience im a conversation ~" It also fits her character :) Estelle has to do her thing to :3 Music!

Possible, but I supect that the writers want Steven to grow up and become a leader. Steven is kinda the bridge between humans and Gems, so in order to live up to his potential, he needs to interact with humans.

The original CGs will always be his family. But Amethyst is more like a sister or a pal, that gets you into trouble. And while Pearl appears very motherly, she sometimes burdens Steven with her problems and fails to help Steven. Garnet is the only that Steven can always count on, that's why Steven needs to become independend from her.
