If she did, she must've kept it a secret from pretty much everybody but her closest friends: you'd think Bismouth would've brought it up when discussing Rose's refusal to use the Breaking Point otherwise!
I was assuming she used it after bubbling Bismuth.
What does it prove except that Lions were particularly fond of Rose?
Lion is likely not corrupted PD, as we've seen the place the Gem should be, and it doesn't seem to be in Lion's TARDIS (his mane.) However, Lion in himself is a secret Rose kept (Rose's Scabbord), unless there are multiple enterances to the Lion-TARDIS, and Rose expected Steven to find one. And Lion is Pink, meaning a possible relation (almost certain, actually, based on what we've been told,) to Rose. Lion, basically, isn't PD.
Anyway about Rose and PD. I personally, don't think PD was shattered by Rose. We see no guilt from Rose, yet Rose refused to allow PD to be poofed. Yes, it was 6,000 years, but Rose doesn't seem to be the kind of person who just forgets that.
Back to the Moon + Bubbled are (partially) about Eyeball and the Ruby squad being easily fooled. "4 times" by Eyeballs count, by Steven, Amethyst, and Garnet. The point is, Eyeball could have been easily deceived. We don't know if there were any other witnesses.
Did i say it proved anything? someone else might talk about this in more detail, im counting on it. Now i know it aint u tho :)
A couple of quote from the article linked at the bottom:
"....there’s an old saying among gemologists: If you hit a diamond with a hammer, it’ll shatter into a dozen pieces. If you hit a piece of quartz with a hammer, it’ll split in two. If you hit a piece of jade with a hammer, it’ll ring like a bell!"
"Diamonds are the hardest substance in nature but also have perfect cleavage. This means they can easily split along cleavage planes. This is a boon for cutting if done properly. Unfortunately, this also means diamonds can chip or shatter with wear. On the other hand, quartz is less hard than diamond but can take a lot of banging about without damage."

Couple of reasons:
.....................
I would just argue one point. Rose could have shattered Pink Diamond easily, by using the Breaking Point.
Otherwise I agree that the case is not closed yet, not by a long shot.
We don't know what the time line is, so it's hard to say. But the reason Bismuth made the Breaking Point in the first place and was so angry it was rejected could be because she'd figured a known Diamond shatterer would be all for it. Or not, and maybe that was before PD was supposedly shattered. We're gonna have to wait and see.
Lion wouldn't be the first corrupted Gem whose gemstone was not readily visible. There's also the bird from Giant Woman, the pufferfish from Beach Party, the lighthouse monster in Horror Club and the Slinker in Reformed. And we know via Centipeetle that a gem can move from it's original placement when a Gem is corrupted.
Also, Steven hasn't looked in that chest yet.
Nav'Talor wrote: There likely more witnesses... diamonds are important and having a single ruby with her is hard to believe. And for rose shattering PD well... breaking point or just outright shattering. I mean a rose is only 8 on the mohs scale.
There were probably more witnesses, but until we hear from them I'm going to remain skeptical. Eyeball is easy to fool, Pearl thought Rose could do no wrong and kept no secrets from her, Garnet might not have even been born yet when PD was shattered, and both Garnet and Pearl had no idea about Bismuth's bubbling or Lion's existence.
perharps Pink Diamond was gonna kill her, and Rose shattered her in self-defense. does anyone think that's a possiblty? :(
Rose killing a The Diamond in charge of producing Gems on earth, for her own sake. Sounds OOC.
Rose killing The Diamond that is hurting earth by taking away its ressources to create warriors/Quartz gems, to free the earth and her freinds. Sound Right.
Rose was made a warrior, she lead the war, as Garnet said: "She did what was best for earth"
