An interesting start so far, she seems to be avoiding the whole "go tell an adult" when you are getting bullied line.
I like this idea of fearless self expression.
In Cartoon Network's anti bullying campaign, they tell kids to tell their teacher or parents when they are being bullied, which is what you should do, but they never mention standing up to bullies at all. Why??????
I mean you're supposed to stand up to bullies, but then again, i get picked on all the time at school and i just say nothing.
Also, I can't wait to see what the creators of other CN shows have in store. I bet TTG's creators don't even have a thing planned since all the Titans are bullies.

It depends on what you define as standing up to bullies? Reporting it to a teacher or parent, or having a group of friends to back you and call them out could be considered standing up to bullies. But if you mean fighting back they do not advocate that much anymore; at least not fighting back in a provacative or physical way.
Why the WHOLE go tell a adult thing don't work -_-
Seriously, is TTG gonna participate? If so what episode will they use? The one where Robin cheated by breaking KF's leg? The one were they decide that smart people are boring? The one were they pressure Raven into eating the meatball or using magic? The ones where they pick on Robin or Beast Boy?
i looked on the stop bullying section on demand and the episodes of TTG that are there are "Hey You, Don't Forget About Me In Your Memory", where Robin tries to promote school stereotypes, bullies the Titans, and beats them all up. How does that stop bullying? They also used "Friendship" but that episode doesn't work either because the Titans immediately forget the morals they learned from Pretty Pretty Pegasus at the end of the episode. You think you're slick, huh CN? You think you can fool little kids by making the Titans look like angels for your anti-bullying project? WELL, even my 3 year old sister knows that the Titans are bullies in those episodes.
TTG wont participate
Only serious shows like SU will
Because they do not want it handled in any other way and schools are afraid of escalation.
Wow
Things have changed in schools. I am not that old but I remember when a couple of kids could get into a fight over bullying and the teachers would break it up and maybe a note would be sent to the parents. But after Colombine everything changed. Schools became afraid that if it looked like they did nothing or not enough they would get sued, and now people worry that one party or another will bring a gun to school to address theirgrievances. So now the method is tell adults and do not try to solve it yourself.
