Do I really need to explain this? This game has been going on for about three years now and this crap is getting old. Can we just bring back Hurt and Heal cause it was at least entertaining. Not to mention people just comment on Ban the Person Above just to get edits and stuff.

Symbol support vote Support - You want to get rid of the game in favor of something MORE entertaining.

Symbol oppose vote Oppose - If you want to keep the game and see people continue playing.

Personally I Symbol support vote Support in getting rid of the game overall since it's been going on for two years.

    • Symbol support vote Support I do love it but it has been going on for long time and I have been getting a little bored with it, besides maybe this will help make sure some people don't spam the board so they can make the next one.

I do agree that it's gotten boring but we don't "Use it just to get edits". We normamly use it to interact with each other, just a place to be off topic.

Besides, I see no harm it could possibly cause. Hit And Heal was banned because drama. Roleplaying was banned because of flooding the wiki activity too much. However, I don't see any reason to get rid of BTP, since it's really harmless. Sure, it may be a big string of mainly pointless threads, but that's why it's on the Off-Topic board, and there's a big time in between each thread creation

I really see no gain by removing it.

but after that board is closed, what's going to stop someone from making a new "ban the person above" thread? ahaha

It would be much better if we had more entertaning games.

    • Disclaimer: this response is more emotional than logical, so take the wording and tone with a grain of salt. I also don't mean everyone on the thread (since that means I am antagonizing myself :( ) but rather just from a quick skim-read. That is all.

That is fine. However, there are places designed specifically for this purpose. An example is the wiki's chat and its Discord server. They're both "live chats", so there are no flaws, right? Doing it on the wiki is what gave Twizzzler their conclusion since it does indeed give edits.

The harm would be spikes in activity which can disturb the activity in the RC, making it more difficult during events like Wanted. This is a personal reason in particular, but I also hate how uncreative the thread always is. There is a reason it had become boring: lack of creativity; it is using tired jokes in an attempt to be funny. Outside preference, it is also using "i ban you because" more as a prefix for a sentence as if a conversation is supposed to be happening (which the chat and Discord are for). There are people like me who say, "I ban because I am sick and tired of seeing this pointless, redundant, pandering crap on my RC during work duty." It is the core of intended stupidity which eventually becomes second-nature to people or less bad a place that people can express carelessness for the sake of satiating whatever compulsive habit they have. I simply don't like it and every other wiki game out there, and I personally want all of them to go away.

Nothing to gain other than a peace of mind when the thread suddenly becomes active and it spams the RC. Nothing to gain other than to erase tired, old, generic, uncreative, pandering, effortless "ban" jokes. Nothing to gain other than people looking to do something different and perhaps be creative enough to make something trendy as well as fun and "helpful".

Agree or disagree, but it will be better to me if it were gone forever. That's all.
