  • Rebecca teased us with an image of her cat sitting on top of a chart which contains "twenty thousand years of Gem Homeworld and Earth history". The Roundtable talked about something from the chart already, but there's alot more that you can make out from it! I tried to read something but I can only make out Lapis and Garnet and Ruby and Sapph(and under both of them I think it says "emerges" but I'm not sure, maybe it's about how they got made???).

    • You have to purchase the book to find out about it. There are lots of obstacles that prevent this from happening.

Exactly, I still haven't grabbed it, everyone keeps telling me I need to though. I hear there's lots of information to be gleaned from that thing.

Oh yeah, you really do. It's incredible and definitely worth the price. There is everything from homeworld gem concepts to storyboards to an incredible amount of backstory for the entire show. There also may be some things that we weren't meant to see yet, like this image that possibly says that our Smoky Quartz is the third iteration of a Smoky Quartz.

You know if there was another Amethyst before our Amethyst that would explain the temple, a little conveniant that they both had a chest Gem but still.

Anyways, besides that the Crewniverse had been very careful to mostly block important things

    • Okay, I'll bite.  I have really poor eyesight, and when I tried to magnify the image in my hard copy, the picture has this really odd distorting texture, so I can make out very little.  Overall, the trend appears to be the "ancient" events at the bottom, with more recent stuff near the top, virtually none of which I can read.

Going by that trend, it appears Sapphire emerged sometime before Ruby, but how long ago those events occurred I cannot say.  The sticky notes are adeptly placed.  I also think Lapis appears on an adjacent line, possibly followed by the word "brought".

However, the most interesting detail that I can partly decipher is the "A new, (?) sensible(?) ____ is custom(?) _____ &(?) delivered ____ Pink."  This is was the snippet I saw previously on reddit that may hint about the origins of CG Pearl, and appears sometime before Ruby and Sapphire's emergence, but on a separate thread.  Custom is the word that suggests a Pearl, assuming it's a Gem we're talking about.  Sensible is another story.  At some point Pearl joined the Crystal Gems, and she was probably Rose's first disciple.  New coupled with sensible may imply that whatever it was, it would replace the former, and if it was CG Pearl's replacement, then perhaps there was some time between Pearl joining Rose to rebel and Pearl being replaced.  Alternatively, they could have been conspiring for a few years before actually resorting to physical attacks, like in The Answer.  On the other hand, if CG Pearl was the replacement, then who was the original?  I mean, CG Pearl doesn't look like she was custom made for Pink, based on the other two Diamond Pearls we've seen.

Also, I ordered mine off of Amazon on 13 of July (2017), and received it approx the next day.

    • Is it legal for you guys to upload scans for us to talk about?

      DO NOT ...

      - Link to an unofficial way to view Steven Universe content (such as seeing full episodes unofficially, reading full comics unofficially, etc).

This can be found under regulations, so i'd say no, atleast for the purpose of this forum such activities would be prohibited. it would probably be okay to post a pic of certain elements but uploading anything in full probably isn't a good plan, atleast to my understanding.

Someone please correct me if I misinterpreted the rules.

No scans are fine, as long as it's not the entire book and you don't link to an unofficial site

    • Thanks for the clarification, that's what I meant by uploading anything in full, I could have probably communicated that better.

    • So I decided to stop being lazy, and have included some mediocre photos.  Make of it what you will:

      SUartbook 105a

      SUartbook 105b

It's from two different angles, and you can clearly see the watermark distortion on it.

      I remember seeing that before

It said something about Lapis's job on earth

And it ruins my theory U_U

    • Well, you've certainly got better eyesight than I do!  What was your theory?

"Lapis moved that part of North Africa to South America"

But no, the photo isn't that one, it's from the girl that went to the studio and took pictures and etc, it's the same photo but without the watermark

I don't remember what else it said

Well, if you find it again, I'd like to see it.  Maybe a different terraformer is responsible for that change?  I'd be curious to know if that is Gem-related at all.

Well, we know that Pearl and the Desert Glass can terraform sand...
