  • Not entirely sure if this belongs here, but it's a question directed towards the wiki staff, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway! I'm just curious as to how the wiki was able to switch the Visual Editor with the Classic Editor. All of the articles seem to default to the Classic Editor instead of the Visual Editor, and I don't have CE set to my default. I tried looking into it myself but I couldn't find anything on how its done across an entire wiki globally as opposed to just setting a personal user setting, so I figured I may be able to get an answer here! :>

    • Tap your profile picture at the Fandom Header (or at beside the bell and mail), then select "My Preferences", just find the option in making the classic editor as your default

    • No, that's not what I'm asking unfortunately. My question is how the wiki was able to make Classic Editor the wiki-wide default. Classic editor is not set as my personal default, yet it still defaults to Classic Editor on this wiki. There has to be some way to accomplish this on another wiki, which is what I'm looking to do.

    • I don't think anything was changed, but you could ask staff via Special:Contact to make the classic editor the default for your wiki.

    • Didn't even think to try that. Figured it was some sort of script or setting. Thanks!
