Gems walked throughout the brightly lit corridor of the Yellow Arm. Portholes on the sides let the passers by look out into space, admiring the colorful stars and galaxies. The eerie silence of the moment was almost like that of a dream, until a loud crash rocked the corridor to its side, inciting hundreds of screams as Gems turned around and began to run. The sound of metal snapping and bending echoes through the halls as the walls began to open. Windows cracked from the pressure, creating a vacuum into space, sucking Gems out where black ghostly figures flew in and caught them, absorbing their physical forms and sucking the energy out of their Gems until they became a fine black dust. These creatures swarmed into the corridor through the cracks in the walls and windows, absorbing the Gems that they cornered.
It all went black when Sapphire awoke, her single eye tearing up. She stood up and began to run, holding her skirt to prevent her small feet from tripping on the delicate fabric. When she finally made it, she stood before a large door that opened as if she knew it would, and standing behind the door was a tall, yellow woman who gave her a curious look.
“State your purpose, Sapphire.” Yellow Diamond commanded.
Sapphire bowed and shaped her hands into a diamond on her chest, “My diamond, I have foretold a terrible event that I must share with you urgently.”
“What do you see, Sapphire?”
“I see a terrorist attack will occur on this ship very soon, many Gems will be destroyed.”
Yellow Diamond’s eyes widened, “We must secure the ship immediately, tell me, where were these terrorists?”
“They attacked from outside the ship.”
Immediately, Yellow Diamond rushed back to her throne, calling upon security to scope the outside of the ship, but just before they could act, an explosion from the opposite side of the ship rocked it violently, indicating that the terrorist attack had already begun.
