Hey guys, apparently there's this thing called a "blog" which I didn't know existed, hehe. So in case you haven't caught on, I'm going to analyze and give my own personal opinions on pretty much every episode (bar filler, Arch don't do no filler) and go over major events, series direction and character progressions. Feel free to hop in and give your own thoughts about the episode or characters, or whatever!

Alright, tonight I'd like to discuss Frybo aka how to do PG Horror right. I [1]The face of horror, delicious delicious horror.mean look at that thing, and its...blank expression. Pure evil. Just silent and pure evil, no motivation or reasoning. *shudders* Ahem, well at any rate, this episode is all about Steven messin' round with shards that bring clothing to life Fantasia style. It also cracks open the series and introduces a character I got a feeling we'll be seeing a bunch of, PeeDee, or P.D., or maybe Petey? Gah, well whichever it is he is Steven's first revealed friend of the same age. (though I'm pretty sure its Petey, I think we got it wrong on this one)
Character analysis aside, this episode also revealed Sugar's willingness to keep objects in play from previous episodes (see: Cheeseburger Backpack), and switch up Steven's outfits And well, its really the clothes that come to save the day isn't it? After giving us a glimpse at Petey's character, the episode goes back to the obvious plot device where they gave Frybo a vague order after granting it life with a shard and then it, of course, took their order too seriously, forcing people to consume fries and become that much more horrifying. In this episode, we get to see Steven acting cool under pressure in contrast to Petey's panicked state, what this tells me is that Steven has possibly been in/around many skirmishes with enough monsters to where not even something as disturbing as possessed Frybo phases him very much. And remaining cool even after Pearl became blinded by Frybo and unable to fight (taken down by Ketchup, really? I bet Amythest would've laughed till it hurt) and even winning the fight using all of his clothes, ALL of them. Thus, the episode ends with Steven stark naked while they burn Frybo (thank gawd) and Petey patches things up with his Dad, allieving him of his duties as Frybo to instead, work the fryer side by side. The whole episode also reinforces the idea that this series is centered around Steven's Coming of Age and he once again, proves himself in this, as he does in the others.
