First Day of Work
Today was my first day of work at my first-ever job. Which, truth be told, was an interesting experience.
I've started a position as a retail assistant at a local t-shirt shop that caters to tourists while I'm home from college for the summer. I worked seven hours today, and I'll be working eight hours tomorrow. It's actually surprisingly fun, despite being tedious at times, and to be quite honest I think that applying for the job was a really good idea. It means I don't have to sit at home the whole summer, and while it eats a chunk out of the time I typically devote to gaming, that's something I'm willing to sacrifice at this point in my life. Besides, I can always use the extra cash.
