Aquamarine is an Era 1 gems from Homeworld. She was asked to go to Earth by Blue Diamond, specifically to guard a powerful staff. On Homeworld, Era 1 Aquamarines were a lower than Topazes but higher than Quartzes, with the task to keep weapons. She arrived on Earth before Sapphire. Even though she was loyal to Homeworld, but one day, she saw the beauty of Earth. She watched Rose Quartz and Pearl's battle and wanted to help them to escape the court after hearing Sapphire's prediction.
