"Young Gems" is an instrumental song that plays in "Story for Steven", when a younger Greg first meets the younger Crystal Gems. It also plays in "Three Gems and a Baby" when the Gems take baby Steven and drive off in Greg's van, mistakingly believing Rose was trying to shapeshift back into herself and they contemplate on what to do to help her.

It was first heard at MAGFEST 2015.

  • Pieces of "We Are the Crystal Gems" can be heard in between pulses of the song.
  • The title of the song refers to the Gems' younger forms.
  • The Gems' signature instruments play during each of their introductions, examples being a piano melody being played while Pearl is talking, and a track resembling "Future Vision" during Garnet's introduction.
